The higher the consumption level, the farther the line is from the origin. However, limited by consumption power, people can only achieve various combinations within the budget line. Now it is such a situation that a person can only spend within the limit of the budget line, but wants to reach a higher indifference curve, from which we can think that this point can only be the best point on the budget line. Then the tangent point between the budget line and the indifference curve on the budget line is satisfied only by the point which is within the budget line and farthest from the origin.
