Wuxi Film and Television Base Zhong Shi Wuxi Film and Television Base is located on the bank of Taihu Lake in the southern suburbs of Wuxi, the battlefield of Chibi bonfire, the home of Wu Dalang and Pan Jinlian, and the Huaqing Pool where Yang Guifei bathes. The scenes seen here are all familiar scenes in film and television dramas. If you are lucky, you can meet the crew being filmed.

CTV Wuxi Film and Television Base consists of three scenic spots, namely San'guo City, Shuihu Town and Tang Cheng. It was built by CCTV to shoot TV series Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Water Margin, Tang Huangming and Yang Guifei. Generally, tourists only visit San'guo City and Water Margin. On one hand, there are traffic reasons. San'guo City is at the southernmost tip of the whole film and television base, Shuihu Town is in the middle, and there are gates connected with San'guo City, while Tang Cheng is at the northernmost tip, with a certain distance from San'guo City and Shuihu Town. There is no scenic tour bus in Tang Cheng, so you have to go out of the scenic spot by bus. On the other hand, both San'guo City and the Water Margin have wonderful performances, but Tang Cheng doesn't. If time is limited, you can just play San'guo City, which is the best.

San'guo City is adjacent to Taihu Lake. It is a film and television base built by CCTV for shooting 84 episodes of the TV series Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The buildings in the scenic spot adopt the lake view, including the water battlefield and the Wu Palace that burned Chibi. Visitors can see scenes from film and television dramas here. If you are lucky, you can also meet the crew that is being filmed.

San'guo City

San'guo City belongs to CTV Wuxi Film and Television Base, and San'guo City is at the southernmost tip of the whole film and television base. After entering the gate of San'guo City Scenic Area, first go west along the main road, then turn north, take the L-shaped route, and visit the scenic area in the order of Cao Ying-Wuyingwu Palace.

The gate of the scenic spot, San'guo City gatehouse, is the shooting place of Zhuge Liang's empty city plan in Romance of the Three Kingdoms. On the right hand side after entering the door are the Taoyuan and Three Kingdoms statues of Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. The racecourse is on the left, and "Three Britain vs. Lu Bu" is a must-see performance for San'guo City.

Go west, pass the huge Ding Han in the central square, and you will arrive at Shuihan Village in Cao Ying. In the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, red cliff was burned, poems were written horizontally, and grass boats borrowed arrows, all of which were shot here. On the land of the camp, stands a three-story Cao Cao podium, which is far from the observation deck on Taihu Lake. On the lake, there is a huge Cao Cao's boat moored, which supports the boat close to the lake. You can vaguely feel the thrilling three-point world since Battle of Red Cliffs!

Walking through the arena, the red cliff plank road and the ancient city wall opened by the mountain, you will arrive at Wuying at the westernmost end. There is Zhou Yu's military tent-shaped platform, which shoots Zhuge Liang's seven-star altar borrowed from the east wind and countless wooden stakes to form a nine-palace eight diagrams array. At Wuying Wharf near Taihu Lake, you can take an ancient boat to visit Taihu Lake, and the fee is 30 yuan.

Turn around and walk north to the Wu Palace with white walls and blue tiles and Jiangnan characteristics. The two towers standing in front of the palace are the tallest buildings among the scenic spots in the Three Kingdoms, with extraordinary momentum. The area around Wugong is the main place to photograph the marriage between Liu Bei and Wu. The word "Xi" is posted on the Hall of Ursa Major, where Liu Bei and Sun Shangxiang got married. The Temple of Juxian in Wugong is the place where Zhuge Liang fights with Confucianism.

Further north, it is the back garden of Wugong. There is a waterside pavilion where Liu Bei and Sun Shangxiang practice sword and martial arts. The bottom floor of the harem is Sun Quan's parliamentary hall, study and dining room, and the second floor is Liu Bei's bridal chamber. The women came out and climbed a flight of steps to Kanluoji on the hillside, where Wu Guotai's blind date Liu Bei and Sun Quan made a wish.

Walking down from Kanluoji, we arrived at the burning red cliff stunt field in the northernmost part of San'guo City. North of the Three Kingdoms, next to the Water Margin City, you can buy a joint ticket for sightseeing.
