Shunde is a district in Foshan with a very long cultural and historical heritage. It has been an important place for foreign exchanges since ancient times. Introduction to Shunde Food

I didn’t know much about it before Did homework. I only know that Shunde is located at the bottom of the south of Guangzhou and is the "city of food". I have appeared on two programs, "A Bite of China" and "Taste of Shunde". Attached are two food maps of Shunde for your reference.

Shunde Transportation

The places we want to go are basically in Daliang and Beijiao, and the two places are far apart. The public transportation here is not developed and the food is quite scattered, so we basically take a taxi.

A friend suggested renting a car, which cost more than 200 for two days. We took five taxis this time and it cost less than 200 yuan, so I think it will be more affordable.

In addition, Mobike and electric mopeds can be found everywhere in Shunde. We had two electric moped rides, which was very convenient.

Shunde District

Day 1: Xiamen Shunde

There are direct train tickets from Xiamen North to Guangzhou South. It's a pity that I didn't buy it late. I can only buy Guangzhou South from Shenzhen North. It only takes 8-10 minutes to get from Guangzhou South to Shunde.

It was almost 2 pm when we arrived in Shunde. We were hungry, so we eagerly called a taxi and headed straight to this Dongzao Fish Head Hotpot restaurant. Dongzao Fish Head Hot Pot Restaurant is a time-honored brand in Shunde, with 7 branches. This time, we came to Daliang Zhongyi Restaurant. I really like the Chinese decoration style of this restaurant.

We didn’t order the signature fish head, but it doesn’t matter. The other dishes are not inferior to the fish head at all.

Super domineering star platter: the 9 square shapes are really domineering. Quail eggs, sausages, beef balls, tripe, duck intestines, duck blood, yellow throat, shiitake mushrooms, and fungus can all be eaten at once, satisfying the needs of many people, and there is no need to worry about not being able to finish one order.

Crab and shrimp slippery: A shrimp is boiled and then slides out of the water. When you bite into it, the shrimp bounces extremely hard, and the crab explodes in your mouth.

The portion of the dish was still too big. There were three pig brains and a large plate of meat. Finally both of them were full.

After eating the hot pot, I finally felt full. Look at the time. It's already afternoon. I was originally going to Qinghui Garden, but Qinghui Garden got off work at 5 o'clock. It seems I can't go. So I asked the clerk where there is a pedestrian street or shopping mall, and he said it was Gaihua Street. After checking, it's not too far, so no need to take a taxi. Just ride a Mobike. You can also enjoy the scenery of Shunde along the way. It had just rained for a while and the weather was very cool.

When I rode to my destination, I saw a lot of people lined up in front of a store, and they were still shouting. I thought, which store is so hot in the afternoon? When I walked in, it was an old Minxin store, and I thought it must be the handler of a refreshment store. When I walked in. Unfortunately, there were too many people in line, so we left.

Opposite Min Laopu is Li Xiji’s Laobengsha. At first, I thought it was made of a bug. When I walked in, it was called "Cat Ears" at our place. It's a crispy snack fried in flour.

A little further ahead is Qinghui Garden. Unfortunately, it was already off work, so I could only take "travel photos" at the door.

Gai Pedestrian Street is the only commercial pedestrian street in Daliang, Shunde.

Let me tell you secretly, I walked on the Gaihua Mountain Plank Road and found a good place to take pictures.

After breathing the fresh air, you can walk on the pedestrian street with peace of mind.

When I came down, I saw an old Minxin store next door. After asking a friend, I found out that it was an old Tang Shui store in Shunde. No wonder there are so many people. This time, I didn't hold back and queued up, but we were quickly reached. The variety of sugar drinks dazzled us. We finally started, so we ordered two glasses of double skin milk. After a while, the cleanly coagulated double skin milk was served. The top layer of milk is sweet and fragrant, and the bottom layer of fresh water is very fresh.

While walking, I felt thirsty and was attracted by Abao lemon tea. At first glance, a cup of lemon tea costs 10 yuan. It’s cheap, buy a cup to quench your thirst.

The entire pedestrian street can be walked in about half an hour, and it is already evening. Seeing that the restaurant where we had dinner in the evening was not far away, we rode the electric moped again.

What was Shunde like in the 1970s and 1980s? In the evening, I went to this hotpot restaurant that serves fresh beef. It is a restaurant owned by an online celebrity in Shunde. You can start shooting as soon as you enter.

Jinfeng Restaurant, Jinlong Hotel, Daliang Supply and Marketing Cooperative, as well as tape recorders and cassettes, take us back to the old times.

"Shang Nian" specializes in fresh beef hot pot and is also a rare buffalo and ox hot pot restaurant in Shunde.

In the transparent open kitchen, you can see the chef preparing all the beef and putting it on the plate.

Different types of meat will be decomposed differently, down to the thickness of the texture, so as to ensure the taste of the meat.

Each plate of meat will be marked and rinsed for a few seconds. It won’t be long before you can have fresh beef.

The tender and firm feeling of the beef will linger in the mouth for a long time, and the strong beef aroma will rush through the taste buds, making people close their eyes and enjoy this rare sense of satisfaction.

Three batches of fresh beef were delivered to the store every morning, lunch and evening, and the time from slaughtering to serving was controlled within three hours, allowing you to eat the freshest and most authentic beef.

When you are full of meat, you should go to the hotel to rest. Because the places I want to go to tomorrow are all in Beixin Town, I stay at the Huaxuanli Hotel in Beixin New Town. It costs 40 yuan and takes about half an hour by taxi.

When I drove into Beixin Town, I was still a little shocked. Compared with the old city, the new city in the northern suburbs is somewhat luxurious. Two large shopping malls and a towering building seem to have opened the door to a new world. The Huaxuanli Hotel we are going to stay in is located in this bustling area.

Although it is not a five-star hotel, it is better than a five-star hotel. From the moment I walked in, I was shocked by its low-key and luxurious style, and I thought to myself: I am in the right place.

There is a breakfast room and reading corner on the first floor of the hotel. It’s also good to read a book when you have nothing to do.

The standard king room is equipped with a standard bed, sofa, TV and coffee table. The toilet and bathroom are separated, perfectly separating wet and dry areas. This kind of room is designed to give every guest a good dream.

Lying on such a comfortable big bed, I slowly fell asleep. Good night.

The next day: Shunde Guangzhou

The second day: Shunde (Huaxuanli Hotel Zhenzhibao Restaurant Xiwannian) Guangzhou (IKEA one-day tour)

< p>When you wake up in the morning, the hotel has prepared a rich buffet breakfast for delicious guests. Breakfast is served from Shop No. 7 until 10 o'clock. Western breakfast and Chinese breakfast have their own preferences. Stewed eggs, porridge, bread, milk, and soy milk are rich in nutrients and will give you an energetic day. Yes, there are boiled noodles and blanched vegetables that the chef can make.

On the 28th floor of the hotel are executive rooms, a gym and a self-service laundry room. People who like sports may wish to come to the gym.

Self-service laundry is convenient for customers and makes laundry easier.

After simple packing, we will prepare lunch. A half-hour taxi ride from here costs 20 yuan.

The Zhenzhibao restaurant you want to eat at noon is a must-go restaurant in Shunde. It has recommendations and praises on various platforms. This time we went to the headquarters of Lunjiao.

To be honest, after arriving, I was scared again. The entire restaurant is so big that my camera can barely fit inside.

After entering the door, many people were waiting for me. We took a number and there were more than 200 tables in front of us! Fortunately, it was very fast and I left after seeing so many people lining up.

When we came in, the whole hall was already full of people. It was really full.

Shrimp dumplings, black pepper beef tendons, steamed chicken feet, and various steamers are sold first.

The shrimp dumplings are crystal clear, with thin skin and lots of fillings. You can eat large pieces of shrimp meat in one bite.

The chicken feet are steamed and soft, no chewing required. Even the bones are tender enough to eat.

Finally, four desserts, passion fruit jelly, white rabbit, Shunde fried milk and stone tofu, will be completed.

The two of them were full again and succumbed to Shunde's refreshments.

The bullet train is going back again in the afternoon, I think it’s almost there. By the way, that's the hand-holding ceremony. That's right. When you come to Shunde, you must come to Xi'an Wannian to buy gifts. Xinian is a century-old store featured in CCTV's "Taste of Shunde", and its name also means that happiness will last for thousands of years.

Locals come here during festivals and weddings, and pick up several boxes of wedding cakes every year. The wedding cake is a grand gift in the local area, and it is most suitable to buy it as a souvenir. Every wedding cake represents a blessing, handmade, and continues the tradition with care.

There are two cakes in the box, the most distinctive flavor of five kernels and the most traditional flavor of lotus seed paste and egg yolk. They taste crispy and delicious.

Today’s wedding cake has become an intangible heritage and represents the culture of Shunde.

After buying gifts, we left Shunde.

Shunde is indeed a gourmet paradise, embracing delicacies from all over the world. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a big belly. Try to eat more next time.

I have been to Guangzhou once before, so I chose to go to IKEA this time instead of visiting those scenic spots. IKEA is simply a furniture city that integrates shopping, photography, and food. It’s really beautiful to take pictures.

We chose to eat directly at IKEA. There are four sets of steak, pasta, meatballs, and curry rice, which are both affordable and delicious. To be honest, I could spend all day at IKEA.

The third day: Guangzhou South Xiamen

On the last day, return directly from Guangzhou to Xiamen. The return route is the same as the entry route. You need to get off at Shenzhen North.

Perhaps the time spent on the road far exceeds the time spent playing, but if you don’t go out, you will always have to watch other people post pictures in Moments.

Only when you go out by yourself can you taste delicious food and see beautiful scenery.
