Tourism resources in Jiaoxi town

Tangweixi, a lagoon in Yilan, which originated from ancient jade, is a ditch-burning water, and Jiaoxi people call it "burning ditch". In the early days, our ancestors reclaimed the Tang Wei Pass, so it was called "Tang Wei Gully". In the cold winter, the ditch surface is white and foggy, full of warm breath, winding and flowing, which is the lifeblood of people in Jiaoxi. The cause of Jiaoxi hot spring is that the hot magma flowing out during volcanic eruption remains underground after volcanic activity stops, which leads to the high temperature of nearby underground rocks. Guishan Island, located off the coast of Yilan, was a volcanic island at that time, and the reef stream was within the range of volcanic eruption, thus creating a special terrain with high temperature underground. The reason for Lanyangping is the terrain, and the rainfall is very abundant. A large amount of rainwater is dissolved into the underground rock formation in Jiaoxi, and is quickly heated by underground heat energy to become underground hot water, which is stored in the rock formation. In addition, Jiaoxi is located in the fault zone, and the cracks in the stratum form the rising channel of underground hot water. Once the hot water is compressed, it will rise along the cracks and gush out of the ground, forming a "hot spring".

Jiaoxi Hot Spring is a rare flat hot spring in Taiwan Province Province, which belongs to sodium bicarbonate spring. The color of spring water is clear and tasteless, and the pH value is around 7. It was about 58℃ when it rushed to the surface. Smooth, soft and non-sticky after washing. Because it is rich in mineral components such as sodium, magnesium, calcium, potassium and carbonate ions, it is very helpful to health whether it is soaked, bathed or drunk as mineral water. It is known as the "hot spring in hot springs" and the annual Jiaoxi Hot Spring Festival is one of the major local activities. Exhibition venues are generally planned as "exhibition area", "performance area", "game rest area" and "hot spring pool". You can also taste hot spring food, so that people can fully enjoy the beauty of Jiaoxi hot spring.

Jiaoxi Hot Spring covers an area of nearly 1.2 square kilometers. It is an alkaline carbonated spring with clear water quality and rich minerals, especially a component called "phenol titanium base", which is colorless and tasteless, moderate in temperature and smooth and delicate in skin after washing, so it is called "beauty soup". In order to make the historical space of Tangweigou look brand-new, retain the same memory of traditional architectural life, and establish a comfortable and natural open recreation place, the Yilan county government specially spent more than NT$ 90 million to entrust the Japanese elephant group company to design the building "Tangweigou Hot Spring Park", which was completed in 20051February. Tangweigou Hot Spring Park not only beautifies waterfront green spaces and landscape pavilions, but also plans a Zen-filled cypress wind and outdoor foot bath exchange pool, which not only allows local people to relive the old memories of bathing, but also allows foreign tourists to enjoy the natural and comfortable cypress hot springs at affordable prices. This time, I went to challenge Jiaoxi's "virgin hiking trail". On the way back, I just stopped at Tangweigou Hot Spring Park and the cypress wind washed me out. In addition to experiencing Jiaoxi Hot Springs, Jiaoxi Township in yilan county is rich in tourism resources, including Wu Fengqi Scenic Area.

Famous scenic spots include Meilin Stone Trail, Jiaoxi longtan lake, Monkey Cave Waterfall, Happy Valley Trail, Wunuan Stone Banqiao, Wusha Former Residence, Xietian Temple, Jiaoxi Park, Jinchelan Garden and Jiaoxi Hot Spring. They are all tourist itineraries that people can refer to when they come to Jiaoxi; In addition, the famous hot springs in Jiaoxi are not to be missed, such as hot spring hemp, hot spring spinach, hot spring tomatoes, etc., which are all delicious hot spring food!
