Is the Ledu Maozhai still open?

Open.

Ledu Maozhai is now open. No tickets, free. Great changes have taken place in Maozhai, an old village in history, since Li Lian, a villager, and himself invested and contracted 133.33 hectares of barren hills for afforestation in 20 12. After several years of development, it has become a rural tourist attraction integrating folk culture tour, vegetable picking and leisure vacation. It is listed as a typical demonstration village of rural revitalization strategy in our province. At present, it is moving towards the national AAA scenic spot.

Maozhaigou in Ledu District consists of three villages: Xinzhuang, Laozi and Zhamen in Gaomiao Town. This used to be the seat of the ancient official road post station. Narrow ravines and rolling mountains are its best protection, but it was once isolated from the world, and the villagers lived a life of "guarding the county and lying in the autumn pavilion, surrounded by barren hills"
