Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has developed an electronic visa system that allows applicants to apply for electronic visas to Thailand through the website. The online application was launched on February 15, 2019 at the Thai Embassy in Beijing.

Preparation materials:

1. Data Preparation

Prepare a complete visa application form and a passport-sized photo (2 inches).

2. Prepare cash

Each person entering Thailand needs to bring 20,000 baht or 4,000 yuan in cash, and each family needs to bring 40,000 baht or the equivalent in cash. The amount of Thai currency entering or exiting the country shall not exceed 50,000 baht.

3. Other materials

Copy of round-trip air ticket or confirmed air ticket. A letter of guarantee (in English or Thai) issued by the applicant's domestic unit or relevant department, indicating the applicant's name and company purpose, should be printed on the company's letterhead and stamped with the official seal.
