Introduction to the Tour Guide Words of Lingshan Giant Buddha

As a tour guide who is willing to solve problems for tourists, he often needs to write tour guide words, which are very practical and involve a wide range of knowledge. So, did you understand the tour guide? The following are the tour guide words of the general situation of Lingshan Buddha, which I collected and sorted out, hoping to help everyone.

Dear friends:

Hello everyone!

Welcome to lingshan scenic spot, the first batch of 5a national tourist attractions! Lingshan Scenic Area, located on the picturesque bank of Taihu Lake in Wuxi, is a large Buddhist theme park with profound cultural heritage and ethereal artistic conception.

First, look at the wall.

Before entering Shengjing Cultural Park, the Dazhao Wall in Lingshan, known as "the first wall in China", will first bring you unprecedented shock. Zhaobi is about 40 meters long and the highest point is 8 meters. It is grand and solemn. The bronzing characters on the north and south sides of Zhaobi were inscribed by Zhao Puchu, former vice chairman of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and president of Chinese Buddhist Association.

Park Lao has a deep relationship with Lingshan, giving Lingshan many wonderful poems. On the side facing Taihu Lake, there are seven Chinese characters of "Lake Light Clear Glazed Glass", and "Glazed Glass" is one of the "Seven Treasures" often mentioned in Buddhist scriptures. Park's old poems imply the beautiful scenery of Lingshan. Lingshan and Taihu Lake set each other off like a crystal clear glass world. The poem "Xiao Lingshan" facing the scenic spot is a high praise and ardent expectation of Park Lao for Lingshan. "I once traveled to jiusan in Tianzhu, sighing and remembering Fahua" is a description of his visit to India (called "Tianzhu" in ancient times) to the "spiritual jiusan" (called "Lingshan" and "Jiu Feng" for short) where Sakyamuni gave lectures. However, Indian Buddhism has already declined, and the spiritual jiusan presents a scene of "emptiness", which reminds people of the grand occasion of Buddha's lecture in those years. "I didn't expect Jiu Feng to fly here, and smallpox was scattered in my house." These two sentences are reversed. It is said that he/kloc-0 came to Lingshan, Wuxi in 1994 and witnessed the prosperity of Buddhism in Lingshan Buddha Scenic Area. It seems that jiusan, the Indian spirit, "flew" to Mashan, Wuxi, and "smallpox scattered in my home" means that he believed in the spread of Buddhism. From this poem, we can see that Pu Zhao, a venerable old man, has ardent hopes for Buddhist culture and the Buddhist holy land Lingshan.

Second, Wuming Bridge

Opposite the zhaobi, the gentle "nameless bridge" spans the Daiyu River, and the exquisite white marble bridge highlights elegance and simplicity. "Five Ming" is a summary of human culture in ancient India and a classification of human knowledge and learning. "Ming" refers to knowledge and disciplines, and "Five Ming" refers to the five major knowledge of human culture, namely

1, Naiming: the knowledge of knowing yourself and understanding the truth of life.

2. Declaration: the study of pronunciation and language;

3. Yin Ming: Research on logic and argument;

4. Medical prescriptions: medicine, sports and health care;

5. Wonderful workmanship: technical knowledge of all walks of life in human material and cultural life, such as agriculture, commerce, industry, architecture, music, literature, military affairs, management and so on.

Each bridge is named after one of the "Five Ming Dynasties", and the railing of the bridge is made of fine white marble from Fangshan, Beijing, which reflects the firm goal of Lingshan to build a "first-class scenic spot" and a "fine project". Walking through Wuming Bridge and entering lingshan scenic spot, it is precisely for us to realize that Buddhism has always only advocated closing eyes and meditating between temples and mountains and rivers, without caring about the world, the real society and the vast number of sentient beings. On the contrary, it actively advocates the development and utilization of all beneficial knowledge and technology for the benefit of all sentient beings. Wuming Bridge embodies the profound Buddhist culture of Lingshan. Tourists and friends can choose to take different bridges to meet your different wishes.

Third, the "lingshan scenic spot" gatehouse

Walking through Wuming Bridge, you can see a magnificent, solemn and exquisite "scenic gate house". The gatehouse combines the simplicity and solemnity of Huizhou architecture, the grandeur of northern royal architecture and the liveliness of Tibetan architecture. The "lingshan scenic spot" plaque hanging at the main entrance was also inscribed by the late President of the Chinese Buddhist Association, Mr. Zhao Puchu. As the first batch of 4a scenic spots in China, lingshan scenic spot not only has first-class hardware facilities, but also provides excellent software services for tourists, including tour guide explanation, small storage, broadcasting, medical care and other services. The unique postcard tickets in the hands of tourists reflect the uniqueness of Lingshan's "service to home". When you enjoy visiting Lingshan, you can mail the postcard tickets together with your blessings to your relatives and friends, and at the same time send the unique aura and blessings of Lingshan to thousands of households.

Through the gatehouse in lingshan scenic spot, let us know the rich Buddhist history and experience the unique culture of Lingshan! Opposite the gatehouse, another Sanskrit inscription "lingshan scenic spot" was written by Professor Ji Xianlin, a Sanskrit expert. "Lingshan", called Chijue Mountain in Sanskrit, originally refers to the Indian "spiritual jiusan", which is called "Lingshan" and "Jiu Feng" for short. Because the top of the mountain looks like a vulture, it is named "Lingjiu Mountain". It can be seen that there is a certain karma between Wuxi Lingshan and Indian Spirit jiusan. It is said that the name of "Lingshan" originated from Master Xuanzang's return from Tianzhu (India) in the early years of Tang Dynasty, and he traveled southeast through Wuxi. When he saw the lush mountains and beautiful scenery of Mashan, he called it "the victory of Zhu Guo vultures in the west", so he named Mashan "Xiaolingshan". Since then, Master Yanji, the great disciple of Xuanzang, has built Xiaolingshan Temple here (Song Dynasty). 1997, we built the Lingshan Buddha, restored the Xiangfu Temple, got the support of Pu Zhao, and got the first abbot of Mingshan Master. The Millennium Temple in Xiaoling Mountain not only regained its light, but also built the first Buddha in China, which is 88 meters high. Xiaoling Mountain has also achieved unprecedented prosperity for more than 1000 years, and it has also achieved the "lingshan scenic spot" praised by the world today.

Fourth, wash the heart pool.

Out of the "lingshan scenic spot" gatehouse, officially entered the Buddhist scenic spot. Please go to Lingshan "Heart-washing Pool" to receive a "baptism" of the soul before starting the journey of Buddhist culture. There is usually an idiom called "turn over a new leaf", which means to completely change yourself and start over. Buddhism's "mind washing" is not from the perspective of personality, but from the perspective of spiritual wisdom. Buddhism believes that each of us has a pure and bright mind, just like a mirror, but with the growth of age, there are more and more troubles and troubles, just like a clean mirror with dust, which can't clearly illuminate everything. The so-called "pure heart, stained with guest dust." Practice in the usual sense is to restore our original purity and light, clearly realize our own values, and achieve true consciousness. Here, let's wash our hands, take away the worldly troubles, purify our hearts, thoroughly transform our tired and troubled bodies and minds, and enter lingshan scenic spot in a fresh and comfortable state.

Verb (abbreviation for verb) Buddhist football

After purifying the soul, we went to the first scenic spot of Lingshan "Buddha Football Stadium" and worshipped the Buddha's feet with a sincere heart. Facing the two of us 1. 2 meters, 0 wide. The 6-meter-long footprint of the giant Buddha is the footprint left by Buddha Sakyamuni. It is said that when the Buddha was alive, he did not advocate that the world worship him. When he died, he left footprints in India's Mojietuo country and said to his disciples, "See footprints as you see me." In the future, believers will regard the Buddha's foot as a sacred object of worship.

The foot of the Buddha in Lingshan was not made out of thin air, but it was based on certain facts: in The Tale of the Western Regions of Datang, it was recorded that Xuanzang walked in the footsteps of Sakyamuni, made a solemn pilgrimage, and brought the pattern back to China, presented it to Emperor Taizong, and later ordered him to carve stones according to the figure. You might as well take a closer look. It can be seen that the bottom of the Buddha is flat and full, the five toes are flush, and the palm has xx and ten thousand characters, all of which belong to the auspicious phase of the Buddha and are different from ordinary people. According to legend, the size of Buddha's footprint will vary according to the size of believers' blessings. Today, everyone is fortunate to see such a large footprint of Buddha, which shows that everyone's blessings are closely related to Buddhism. In addition, the stone tablet engraved with Sakyamuni's footprints is also preserved in the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Yuhua Palace in Xi 'an, and it is also copied from the Buddha's Foot Stone carved by Master Xuanzang that year. Now, let's follow the footsteps of the Buddha to understand the arduous process of enlightenment.

Six, five smart people

What we are seeing now is the "Wuzhimen", one of the few large hand-carved stone tablet buildings in China. It is 38.4 meters long and 15.5 meters high, with unique design and exquisite carving technology. All granite, * * * used 1, 000 tons of stone. The gate of Lingshan is also known as the "gate of wisdom". Entering the wisdom gate of Buddhism, we will look forward to the grand scene of the birth of the prince, feel the majestic momentum of Ashoka Pillar, which symbolizes the grandeur of Buddhism, the prosperity of the country and the peace of the people, and learn about the rich historical and cultural connotation and broad wisdom and philosophy of Buddhism through many Buddhist cultural attractions such as Bodhi Avenue and Prayer Corridor.

Six pairs of Chinese characters of Buddhism "giving, keeping precepts, enduring humiliation, diligence, meditation and prajna" are engraved on the north and south sides of Wuzhimen respectively. In layman's terms, "six degrees" refers to the six codes of conduct for Buddhist learners to achieve great Buddhist wisdom. "Giving" means telling people to put aside selfishness, think more about others and give others something valuable. Most people are used to being self-centered and planning for themselves, while learning Buddhism means "not seeking happiness for themselves, hoping that all beings will get rid of their sufferings", thinking more about others and "being selfish and patenting others". From a deeper level, giving is not only to give property to others, but also to tell others the knowledge about "life wisdom", such as the truth of being a man, the meaning and value of life, and the truth of universal life, so as to enrich and live a more meaningful life. This is the so-called "legal endowments". "Keeping precepts" is not only a commonly thought "religious precept", but a basic principle of dealing with people. Buddhism advocates "not killing" and "not stealing" and so on. Fundamentally speaking, it is guiding all beings to follow the laws of nature, abide by ethics, adhere to the code of conduct, safeguard social morality, and strive to be a good citizen who abides by the law. Before Sakyamuni's nirvana, a disciple asked how Buddhism should live in the world in the future. Sakyamuni said that "taking precepts as a teacher" shows that "keeping precepts" is very important. "To bear the burden of humiliation" means to be willing to endure pain and humiliation. The so-called "endure a calm moment, take a step back and broaden the horizon" must be tough. On the other side of "Five Wisdom Gates" is "Diligence". "Slow progress" in the six degrees means that practitioners should make unremitting efforts, persevere and forge ahead. This shows that it is completely wrong to think that Buddhism is "negative", "pessimistic", "escapist" and "world-weary". Buddhism is also very active, "keeping pace with the times" and working hard. "Meditation" is to let us learn to calm down and think about problems, and learn to treat everything with a normal heart. Only by truly integrating the first five degrees can we reach the realm of "Prajna", that is, gain the great wisdom of Buddhism. I really understand the value and meaning of life.

Seven. Puti boulevard

Through the door of wisdom, we set foot on the "Bodhi Avenue". More than 100 ginkgo trees were planted on both sides of the avenue. In China, ginkgo tree has always been regarded as a Buddhist holy tree to replace Bodhi tree. Ginkgo biloba is a living fossil in plants because of its age, and it also symbolizes the long history of Buddhist culture. Because Buddha Sakyamuni became a Buddha under a bodhi tree, bodhi in Buddhism means enlightenment, and "Bodhi Avenue" is also called "the way of enlightenment". We can see that the center of Bodhi Avenue is decorated with seven lotus flowers, which are taken from the story of "Lotus is born step by step" when the Buddha was born. I'll introduce it to you in detail later. Walking on the lotus is like walking with the Buddha, and you can see the continuous moire on the roadside. Homonym is "continuous luck". Walking means continuous good luck and repeated blessings.

There are green belts with an investment of more than 30 million yuan on both sides of Bodhi Avenue, and there are many precious tree species such as Zelkova, Zelkova, Podocarpus and Pinus bungeana. Be introduced. This kind of lawn was also introduced from American short Bermuda and perennial evergreen lawn planted with weeds. The reason why Lingshan Company spends so much money on greening is to create a beautiful and clean environment for us to feel the Zen realm of "one flower, one world, one leaf and one Buddha", and also to remind tourists to cherish greening and life.

Eight, Kowloon irrigation bath

Stroll along Bodhi Avenue, the main landscape of the Cultural Park-"Kowloon Irrigation Bath". Auspicious bloom ",magnificent and spectacular, reproduces the auspicious phase of the Buddha's birth in Buddhist scriptures. When it is opened, when the music of "Buddha's Birthday" is played, the top six lotus petals will slowly bloom, and the golden-body Prince Buddha statue rises from Ran Ran and turns clockwise, which means "bloom sees Buddha" and "Buddha shines brightly". Lotus blooms five times a day (10: 001:3014: 0015:16: 30). When it blooms, the nine dragons crouching around it will spray an arc as high as 30 meters. The fountain water body is full of charm ... this magical dynamic landscape is built according to the story of the birth of the Buddha recorded in the Buddhist scriptures: it is said that the Buddha Sakyamuni was born differently from ordinary people. He can walk and talk, and he took seven steps to the southeast and northwest without the help of others. At every step, lotus flowers appeared at his feet. Finally, he stood on a lotus, pointed to the sky and pointed to the ground, and made a lion roar, "Heaven and earth are my only one. "The little prince is covered in gold, * * * used 18 kg of gold, weighing 12 tons and 7.2 meters high. Under the lotus seat is a lion drum, which symbolizes Buddhism's promotion of Buddhism. Under the lion drum are the four heavenly kings, the patron saint of the Buddha when he was born. Several beautiful fairies around us are called "Eight Providers". They were the providers when the Buddha was born.

At the end of the "Jiulong Irrigation Bath", there will be 72 trickles spouting from eight groups of phoenix mouths around, which is called "Ba Ding Shui" by Buddhism. According to legend, only the western paradise exists. This water is completely purified by more than 2 million purifiers imported from Germany, so you can rest assured to drink it. Drinking this water will bless your physical and mental health, happiness and good luck. Don't miss it!

Nine, turn the corridor

Around the square is a warp turning corridor with 108 warp turning cylinders for us to "warp turn" all the way. The prayer wheel is a special prayer tool in Tibetan Buddhism. One turn of the prayer wheel is equivalent to reciting "Sanzang" once, and the merits are boundless. The original meaning of "turning the scriptures" is to read Buddhist scriptures. However, considering that some friends are busy at work and usually have no time and opportunity to read classics, they have set up such a corridor for turning classics. You can take this opportunity to turn the prayer wheel, just like reading scripture in the prayer wheel. If you have time, you can turn all our prayer wheels on 108, just like chanting for a hundred times, which will bless your longevity and prolong your life.
