Sexu Tribe Cultural Tourism Scenic Area

Sexu Tribe Cultural Tourism Scenic Area is located in the Western District Working Committee of Shiqu County, Garze Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It is located in the three provinces of Sichuan, Qinghai and Tibet on the southeastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The junction is 30 kilometers away from Shiqu County, 130 kilometers away from Yushu Airport, and Provincial Highway 217 directly leads to the scenic spot.

Sexu Temple is one of the largest temple complexes in Garze Prefecture, consisting of more than 100 temples. The temple houses tens of thousands of Buddha statues and Buddhist scriptures, among which Maitreya is known as the second largest Buddha in Tibetan areas. The Buddha statue (about 19 meters high), the two-story gold-plated copper stupa, and the Buddhist staff from famous ancient Indian temples are the most precious.

Zhenda Shenlu Valley Ecological Tourism Scenic Area is located in Zhenda Township, Shiqu County, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. The scenic area covers an area of ??53.24 square kilometers and borders Yushu, Qinghai Province to the west. Tongtian River is the junction point of Qinghai and Sichuan provinces and has since been called Jinsha River.
