Which countries do Chinese people not need to apply for a visa to go to?
As of March 2020, Chinese people do not need to apply for a visa to go to Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, Fiji, Jeju Island, Bali, and Fiji. The following is a detailed introduction to these countries:
1. Morocco
According to a notification from the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, starting from June 1, 2016, Morocco has granted visa-free treatment to Chinese citizens. The period of stay for Chinese citizens shall not exceed 90 days from the date of entry.
Chinese citizens can enter Morocco with only their passport (the passport should be valid for more than 6 months). They do not need to apply for a visa. There is no application process and they can just leave. The embassy will no longer apply for visas for Chinese citizens.
2. United Arab Emirates
As of now, Chinese people can go to Dubai without a visa. Dubai is a city in the United Arab Emirates. The governments of my country and the United Arab Emirates mutually exempt visas from each other, so Dubai is visa-free for China.
Chinese citizens holding diplomatic passports, official passports, ordinary official passports and private passports do not need a visa to enter the UAE. Starting from January 16, 2018, the mutual visa exemption arrangement reached by the Chinese government and the UAE government has officially come into effect. Chinese citizens holding the above types of passports can enter the UAE and stay for 30 days without a visa, and can go to the UAE immigration department to apply for a paid renewal once.
3. Jeju Island
Chinese citizens who hold a valid mainland Chinese passport and have no record of visa refusal by the Korean embassy are eligible to enter Jeju Island, South Korea, visa-free for 30 days . You can enjoy the visa-free policy only if you take a direct flight to Jeju Island. Transfers are not allowed. To be on the safe side, it is best to have a direct round-trip air ticket when entering the country.
4. Bali
Bali started visa-free for Chinese tourists on June 10, 2015, and is a visa-free port. Individual travel does not require a separate visa. Chinese tourists can enter the country with their passports (valid for more than 6 months) stamped at the airport, eliminating the cumbersome and crowded process.
5. Fiji
Chinese citizens who hold a valid passport of the People’s Republic of China and enter Fiji and stay no more than 30 days are exempt from visa requirements. When entering the country, please bring your return ticket or connecting ticket to a third country for inspection, as well as sufficient expenses for living and traveling in Fiji.
