According to the Interim Measures for the Administration of Border Tourism, border tourism refers to the tourism activities that citizens of China and neighboring countries collectively enter and leave the designated border ports within the area and time limit agreed by the two governments, and are organized and received by approved travel agencies.

To apply for border tourism business, you must meet the following conditions:

1. Border cities and counties open to foreigners with the approval of the State Council;

2. There are national first-class and second-class ports officially approved by the state to open to the outside world, and the port joint inspection facilities are basically complete;

3. Travel agencies that can receive foreign tourists with the approval of the tourism administration department;

4. Conditionally handle the entry and exit documents of the participants nearby;
