Tourist attractions in Zimao Town
Purple hat is rich in tourism resources. The Zimao Mountain within the territory is one of the four famous mountains in Quanzhou. It has beautiful bells and beautiful scenery. It has been known as "the beautiful mountains of Zimao and the strange stones of Qingyuan" since ancient times. Climb along the winding mountain road to the highest peak in Quanzhou City, the Zifeng Peak Lingxiao Tower with an altitude of 517.8 meters. Looking around, you can have a panoramic view of Quanzhou City. The Jinjiang River is like a ribbon flowing eastward and merging into the sea. I suddenly felt relaxed and happy. Jinsu Cave and Guxuan Temple in the mountains have been places where famous Taoist priests studied and practiced since the Tang Dynasty; Baofu Temple, Anfu Temple, Five Pagoda Rocks, Tiezao Buddhist Kingdom, etc. all have imprints of Buddhist carvings and stone carvings by celebrities and sages from past dynasties; and they are all over the place. In the mountains, hundreds of stone carvings with the word "heart" in different shapes are a major cultural relic wonder in Quanzhou.
In the Zimao Mountains, the mountains are undulating. Some are steep and towering, some are winding and subtle, some are as exquisite as jade, and some are charming in retrospect. There are waterfalls and jingling springs on the high cliffs in the mountains. The lakes Zihu and Zixi at the foot of the mountain have rippling blue waves, which may be wide or narrow, twisting and turning, and have a unique charm. In the wild fields on the hillsides around the lake, there are many fruit trees such as longan, lychee, bayberry, and persimmon, which cover the sky with thick shade and are lush and green. Jinsu Cave, Guxuan Temple, Guyuan Temple, Miaofeng Temple, etc. in the mountains were places where famous Taoists from the Tang, Song, Ming and Qing dynasties studied and practiced. Baofu Temple, Anfu Temple, Puzhao Temple, Wu Pagoda Rock, etc. all have imprints such as Buddhist sculptures and cliff stone carvings by sages from past dynasties. The hundreds of stone carvings with the word "heart" in various shapes scattered throughout the mountains are also a wonder of Chinese cultural relics.
