Is it better to travel to Thailand or Vietnam?

After the price increase, Vietnam can be used as a substitute for Thailand.

For many people with low budgets, Thailand is undoubtedly the first choice. But at present, rising prices have become the biggest obstacle to this enthusiasm. Due to the surge in tourists, shortage of manpower, and inflation in Thailand, prices have soared and the fun of playing has been greatly reduced. This makes China tourists who have just recovered from illness more hesitant, and it also casts a shadow over Thailand's revived tourism industry.

A coconut 15 yuan, the starting price of a taxi is 40 yuan, and a pair of slippers is more than 50 yuan. On the first day I came to Phuket, I could only comfort myself that "the consumption here is similar to that in Sanya."

The trip to Thailand will not be as cost-effective as expected at present. At present, the direct flight ticket price from Beijing to Bangkok is nearly 4,000 yuan, even if the round-trip ticket to Xiamen adds up to nearly 5,000 yuan.

On the travel APP, a hotel that looks neat and spacious costs about four or five hundred yuan. The cost of three nights' accommodation in Bangkok is about 1500 yuan. Hotels in Phuket are more expensive. Plus the hotel in Chiang Mai and the visa fee of 400 yuan, it will be nearly 6,543,800 yuan.

So why does Thailand's tourism price rise?

The cost of traveling to Thailand is about 3500- 10000 yuan, of which accommodation, catering, transportation and tickets are the main expenses. This price may not be expensive for some people, but it may have exceeded the budget for some people, not to mention that most people who go to Thailand value its cost performance. Moreover, at present, the exchange rate of China Bank against Thai baht is more than 2450 RMB 10000 Thai baht, while it was 2000 RMB 10000 Thai baht before. This means that traveling to Thailand needs more RMB in exchange for the same Thai baht, which invisibly increases the travel cost.

Vietnam is a typical representative. This country is located in the east of Indochina Peninsula, facing the South China Sea to the east and south. It has a tropical monsoon climate and is a traditional agricultural country. Chinese characters have been used in this country for about two thousand years, and they are inextricably linked with our country, which is why many people in China are familiar with it. In addition, there is a strong tropical flavor that China does not have, and many people from China come here to travel every year.

The arrival of China people brought local economic income to Vietnam, but the Vietnamese people did not treat China people who came from thousands of miles. According to some China people who have traveled to Vietnam, Vietnamese will treat tourists from different countries differently, and China people will have some "special treatment". They will blatantly ask China tourists for tips. For example, when handing in a passport, the customs will say "10 yuan" in Chinese.

Not only that, the Customs will deliberately make things difficult for China people. For example, it often deliberately rummages through passengers' boxes, suggesting that China people will pay a "tip" to get through. This practice has become an unwritten rule. Nowadays, many people will pay the bill in order to avoid unnecessary trouble. Slowly, their differential treatment of China people will become normal.

This is especially true in terms of price. Prices in Vietnam are low. People from other countries buy things in Vietnam at local prices. Only when they came from China did they start to raise prices. Some shops even put up notices at the door, such as "Not for sale to China people". Nevertheless, China people still choose to travel to Vietnam every year, on the one hand, because of Vietnam's unique exotic customs, and on the other hand, because the scenic spots without tickets are indeed more attractive than those in China.
