Recommend May Day Hangzhou Travel Guide

I don't know how many people are here. Last week, my friend came to Hangzhou to help him sort out the route. I don't know if it is suitable for you. It's for reference only.

The first day:

1 Lingyin Temple

Starting from bus Songjiangcun Station (opposite Wumei), take bus No.1/K87, take 7 stops, get off at bus Miduqiao intersection station and transfer to K. Feilaifeng is not only beautiful in scenery, but also one of the important areas of ancient cave art in southern China. There are more than 33 stone sculptures in Qinglin Cave, Yuru Cave, Longhong Cave, Sheyang Cave and the cliffs along the stream. Among them, the most striking thing is the Maitreya Buddha, who is smiling and bared his chest. This is the largest statue in Feilaifeng Grottoes, which is a masterpiece of sculpture art in the Song Dynasty and has high artistic value.

There is a stone path leading to Longhong Cave in the depth of Yuru Cave, also known as Tongtian Cave. On the inner wall of the cave is a statue of Guanyin, which is rare among Guanyin statues. Going west through the Tongtian Cave, there is a ray of sky. When you look up, you can see a ray of sky in the crevice. Because of its name, a ray of sky is a cold spring before it. After passing the cold spring, there is a golden lotus pond in the middle of the north peak, which is the fourth spring in Hangzhou.

Lingyin Temple is located in the northwest of West Lake, at the foot of Lingyin Mountain between Feilai Peak and north peak. Here, thousands of peaks compete for beauty, and thousands of valleys contend for each other. It is a tourist attraction with rich ancient scenery and pleasant scenery. Lingyin Temple is one of the famous ancient temples in the south of the Yangtze River.

visitors enter Lingyin from the wall of "a stone's throw to the west", and first stop in front of Ligong Tower. Ligong Pagoda is the burial place of the ashes of the monk Huili. It is a stone pagoda with a height of more than 8 meters and seven octagonal floors. It is located next to Feilai Peak Rock and is in harmony with the surrounding scenery. Go to the right through the Spring Pavilion. A red wall temporarily covers Lingyin Temple, and on the left are Feilai Peak and Cold Spring. Walking by the spring, the scenery is deep and fascinating.

There were five pavilions on the cold spring in the Tang Dynasty, but the four pavilions were destroyed by mountain torrents, and the cold spring was moved to the shore in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. There are two pavilions, "Helei" and "Cold Spring". The pavilion was built in the Song Dynasty, and Su Dongpo wrote a poem "I don't know where the water comes from, jumping into the valley like thunder", hence the name of the pavilion. There is a pair of couplets on the cold spring pavilion, which is very interesting.

After the cold spring, Lingyin Ancient Temple is in sight. Lingyin Temple "Yunlin Temple" was inscribed by Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty. According to the records of Lingyin Temple, in the 28th year of Emperor Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (1689), Emperor Kangxi made a southern tour to Lingyin. One morning, Lingyin Temple hosted Master Di Hui and accompanied him to north peak. I saw Lingyin Temple shrouded in a morning mist and a desolate scenery of Yunlin, and returned to the foot of the mountain. Master Di Hui asked Emperor Kangxi to inscribe the temple, and Emperor Kangxi wrote "Yunlin Temple" on the spot, but Lingyin Temple.

One of the ten scenic spots in the West Lake, "Broken Bridge and Broken Snow", comes from this.

1. Tour the lake, visit the San Tan Yin Yue and overlook Ruandun Huanbi.

Santan Yinyue Island, also known as Xiaoyingzhou, together with Huxin Pavilion and Ruan Gongdun, is called the three islands on the lake. The whole island covers an area of about seven hectares, including the water surface. There are curved bridges connecting the north and the south, and the bridges connecting the east and the west with earth dikes cross in a cross shape, which divides the water surface of the island into four, and the periphery of the water surface is an annular dike. Seen from the air, the land on the island is shaped like a giant "field", showing the characteristics that there is an island in the lake, and there is a lake in the island, and the waterscape is famous. It is unique among the ten scenes of the West Lake and is a classic of water gardens in the south of the Yangtze River in China. In the thirty-fifth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (167), Qiantang County ordered Nie Xintang to take the mud from the lake and build a dam around the island, which initially became a lake in the lake as a place for release. Later generations built three small bottle-shaped stone pagodas in the south lake of the island, which were called "Santan". In the early Qing Dynasty, a curved bridge and a hall were built on the island, and hibiscus was planted around the inner lake. After Peng Yulin, a retired general in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, built a villa here, and Xiaoyingzhou began to take shape. There are five round holes in each pool, and lights are placed in them on a moonlit night, which reflects the moon in the water, hence the name "Three pools printing the moon".
