Where to go when traveling to Mangshi

1. Bodhi Temple is located in the center of Mangshi Town, Luxi City, Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is a relatively good existing Buddhist temple in Mangshi area. The whitewashed walls and green tiles, stacked pavilions, brackets and cornices, carved beams and painted buildings, face the rolling green mountains and the leisurely Mangshi River at the back. They are in perfect contrast with the unique Dai bamboo buildings and the beautiful subtropical scenery.

2. Wuyun Temple is located on the south side of the west section of Hongqi Road, Mangshi Town, Luxi City, Yunnan Province. It is a county-level cultural relic protection unit. Because there are five big green trees in front of the gate, and many egrets live on the trees all year round. From a distance, it looks like five white clouds, so it is called Wuyun Temple. The Dai people call it "Zanghan", which is Jinzi Temple. The hall enshrines the first Buddha statue "Pala Guomeng" that the former chieftain Fang Dingzheng brought to the Mangshi area from Myanmar, which is regarded as a treasure by people.

3. Mengbanasi Exotic Garden is a national AAAA-level scenic spot. It is located in the southeast of Luxi City, Dehong Prefecture. It has been built into a high-grade scenic spot with simple, natural and rare characteristics. It is a rare ecological garden in the country. There are houses built with the oldest building materials in the world. Several tall trees were turned into jade and made into columns and beams, and "wood" from 200 to 300 million years ago was used as building materials. I am afraid that this can only be seen in the Mengbanasi Exotic Garden. What’s even more interesting is that there are pebbles from hundreds of millions of years ago mixed in the gaps in this tree. Looking at it all the way, you can immediately understand the reason why the tree turns into jade. Whether you are appreciating treasures or studying, the Treasure Garden is a good choice.

4. Shubao Tower was built in the early Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty and is located in the middle section of Mangshi Pedestrian Street. The tower is more than 10 meters high, and the trees are tens of meters high. The tower is topped by trees, and the trees are surrounding the tower. The branches and leaves on the top are lush, and the pagoda under the feet is shining. It is a wonderful scene in the tower.
