Tourism Management and Hotel Management

Tourism management is mainly engaged in tour guide work, including ground pick-ups, escorts, tour leaders, travel agency managers, etc. Government agencies like the Tourism Bureau, although they specialize in tourism management, are equally difficult to enter.

Hotel management is of course engaged in hotel management, but it is difficult to rely on academic knowledge to do a hotel business. It is all about ability and experience, and you must start from the grassroots level. For travel books, just read travel agency operations and management and tour guide services. For hotel management, just read hotel English books. All other theoretical books are nonsense!

Generally, those who study tourism management and hotel management will go to hotels to intern for half a year or more, and of course they are paid. However, there are few real opportunities to work in tourism after graduation. There are some in hotels, but not many.
