How to deal with private enterprises paying for public officials' travel?
It is illegal for private enterprises to pay public officials to travel.
According to Articles 61 and 63 of the Disciplinary Regulations (for Trial Implementation), those who take advantage of their position to seek benefits for others, accept their invitation, or take their relatives and friends out for a trip at the expense of the inviting party are deemed to have committed the crime of accepting bribes and need to be given administrative sanctions.
These regulations aim to safeguard the justice and fairness of public officials and prevent them from abusing their power for personal gain. Therefore, any form of bribery and improper exchange of interests is strictly prohibited.
