When is Puzhehei Bamei Fuxian Lake suitable for traveling?
Bamei Village is located at the junction of Eight Townships and Ake Township in the north of Guangnan County, Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The village is surrounded by mountains and there is no road. Entering the stockade mainly depends on two natural limestone caves in front of and behind the village. The villagers have to touch the rock wall to wade, support bamboo rafts, paddle canoes and take small boats, and cross several kilometers of dark water caves to get in and out. It is difficult to communicate with the outside world because of its remoteness and inconvenient transportation. During the village head period, Bamei was isolated from the outside world and was in a closed and semi-closed state. Best travel time: May-September.
