Brief introduction of Zhuxi Lake eco-tourism area

The origin of the word Zhuxi is the local name Zhuxigou. Secondly, Zhang, a poet of Song Dynasty and the prefect of Lin Qiongjun, carved the word "Zhuxi" in regular script with a diameter of five feet on the Jicui Rock of Zhuxi Lake. There is an ancient stone bridge on Zhuxigou, and there is a Zhuxi Bridge stone tablet inscribed by the paper mill on the east bank. Lu You and Wei Liaoweng, scholars in the Song Dynasty, were famous in Sichuan for their beautiful scenery, dark green valleys and beautiful peaks. Climb up the dam along the winding stone steps at the shady foothills, and there is a veranda on the dam. The crystal clear lake rolled down from the dam, flying beads splashed jade, like fog and smoke, and the weather was myriad. The vast lake is sparkling, and five finger-like gullies meander and extend as deep as 10. The hills around the lake are green, surrounded by ancient roads and strange rocks, and the pine and bamboo on the mountain are uneven and ancient. Birds are wandering in the water, and the brocade scales are chasing shadows. Surrounded by peaks around the lake, the green hills are dyed and the water is blue. The rocks around the lake form a cliff like a knife and axe, like cows, horses, elephants and rabbits. Rowing in the lake, the mountains turn back and forth, slender and complete. Tourists are boating in the lake, as if walking in vain. Wei Ziweng wrote a poem about Zhuxi in the Northern Song Dynasty: Wonder scenery in the mountains, abnormal condition, countless accumulation. Or calmly draw, or hide. Or martial arts, such as eyebrows, or such as giant scars. Or the stork fights, or Youlong borrows it. At first glance, it's strange to be addicted to poetry with the scenery.

Zhuxi Lake Central Peninsula, a cliff statue of Huazhi Temple, a provincial cultural relics protection unit, was excavated in the 14th year of Zhenyuan in Tang Dynasty (798). There are four existing Buddhist niches, namely, the Buddha-standing niche, the Avalokitesvara niche, the Pure Land niche and the Thousand Buddhas niche. It has the characteristics of solemnity, boldness and fullness of early Buddhist statues in China. The clothes are simple, soft, light, smooth, gorgeous, well-proportioned, reasonable in layout and skilled in knife work. Experts believe that they are rare masterpieces of Mo Yan's statues in Tang Dynasty. Wang Shi Pan Village, two miles from Zhuxi Lake, is home to thousands of egrets. They live in lush bamboo forests, some of them fly in the air, feed by the water and chase each other. Really carefree, full of modality. There are also precious red-crowned cranes, and visitors here are all amazed and fascinated. The main attractions of the scenic spot are mainly composed of three lakes and countless small islands. Visitors can go boating or take a speedboat to play on the lake, enjoy the stone carvings of thousands of buddhas in the Tang Dynasty, and sit by the lake to enjoy tea games. It is worth mentioning that fishing enthusiasts can also fish in the lake at will, and the fish they catch will be taken away by themselves without a penny.

The main scenic spots in the scenic area include Turtle Island, Snake Island, Jade Rabbit Cave, Fairy Cave, Huidabi, Yinyangyan, Huashishan, Elephant Trunk Mountain and Hangu Island.
