The information required for a tourist visa and the application method are as follows:

1. I go to the place of residence with my household registration book, original and copy of my ID card, and a recent 2-inch bareheaded color photo of myself. Apply at the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau;

If there is no Exit-Entry Administration Bureau in the place where your household registration is located, you need to go to the Exit-Entry Administration Office of the local Public Security Bureau to apply. When filling out the visa application form, you need to fill in basic personal information. You can only apply for a visa once a year for the first time, and the application time usually takes 15 working days.

Function of visa:

The entry-exit border inspection authorities are responsible for implementing exit-entry border inspection. The public security organs of local people's governments at or above the county level and their entry-exit administration agencies are responsible for the management of foreigners' stay and residence.

The Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs may, within the scope of their respective responsibilities, entrust the entry-exit management agencies of the public security organs of local people's governments at or above the county level and the foreign affairs departments of local people's governments at or above the county level to accept foreigners' applications for entry, stay and residence.

The Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should strengthen communication and cooperation in the management of exit and entry affairs, and work closely with relevant departments of the State Council to exercise their powers and assume responsibilities in accordance with the law according to their respective division of responsibilities.
