What country is Mandalay?

Mandalay is the second largest city in Myanmar.

The Balinese name of Mandalay is "Rotona Rabbit Inserted into the Capital", which means "City of Treasures". It is the new capital built by Yongya Dynasty in 1857. The capital is located in the suburb of the present city. Most of the buildings were destroyed in World War II, leaving only the ancient imperial city and towers. Awa, a famous ancient capital in Myanmar's history, is in its suburbs, so overseas Chinese living in Myanmar call it "Wacheng". It is the economic, cultural and transportation center of the central region.

Mandalay Mountain 1

Mandalay Mountain is located in the northern part of Mandalay city, formerly known as Luoge Mountain, and is a famous Buddhist shrine in Myanmar. Mount Mandalay is not high, only 236m, but it is the highest place in the whole city of Mandalay.

Mandalay Palace is located in the center of the ancient city. It was originally the palace of the last dynasty in Myanmar, the Kampong Dynasty. It was destroyed by fire during World War II and has now been rebuilt in the old site. From 65438 to 0989, the Myanmar government began to rebuild and repair 89 halls based on historical pictures and materials, and opened them to the outside world from 65438 to September 1996.
