Puyang Yellow River Water Conservancy Scenic Area (Qucun Flood Diversion Gate Yellow River Tourist Area) is located on the left bank of the lower reaches of the Yellow River in the northeast of Henan Province. Qucun flood diversion gate is a large-scale water conservancy project in Beijin Dike, with a designed flood diversion flow of 1m/s, a total width of 29.5m, a total length of 749m upstream and downstream, and 56 holes, covering an area of 78 mu. Now, 24 mu of fish ponds have been developed. With the construction of "China Excellent Tourism City" in Puyang City, it is imperative to develop the Yellow River tourist area of Qucun flood diversion gate. It is planned that in the next 3-5 years, Qucun flood diversion gate will be built into a large-scale eco-tourism park integrating flood control tourism and ecological protection, and become a famous eco-tourism scenic spot in Puyang City and even the Yellow River in Henan Province. The construction and development of the browsing area takes the natural landscape and cultural landscape of water conservancy projects and affiliated waters as the main body, and integrates the essence of water conservancy technology and Yellow River culture to realize the harmony and unity of water scenery, regional customs, engineering style and cultural attractions, and water conservancy culture. Fully embody the characteristics of eco-tourism and establish a bright spot project in the tourism industry chain. Qucun flood diversion gate is a large-scale water conservancy project to divide the flood detention water to Beijindi when there is a serious flood of more than 22, m3/s at Huayuankou of the Yellow River. The project was built in 1976 and completed in 1978. It is a national first-class building with a designed flood diversion flow of 1, m3/s, with a total width of 29.5 m and a total length of 749 m upstream and downstream, with 56 holes. Drawing lessons from Zhejiang's experience in tourism development by using water conservancy projects, combined with Puyang's tourism development planning, and giving full play to the unique landscape and good ecological advantages of Qucun flood diversion gate, Qucun flood diversion gate will be developed and built into a famous eco-tourism scenic spot in the lower reaches of the Yellow River. At the same time, adjacent scenic spots such as Qingzhuang Dangerous Works, Yellow River Diversion Irrigation Sluice, newly-built water intake project of four sluices, two rivers and three dikes, water surface of a thousand mu water source, elegant natural Wenyan Canal, Yellow River Wetland Reserve, Wangyao Resort, Erxian Temple and zenrinji for protecting the country are merged and developed to form a large-scale comprehensive tourist attraction, which faces Dongming Yellow River tourist area across the river and is connected by pontoons and ferries.
