Zhoushan Dongji Island Travel Guide

Zhoushan Dongji Island is a beautiful island surrounding the East China Sea. It was called Fairy Island in ancient times and is also the location of Peach Blossom Island in Jin Yong’s novels. It is rich in natural landscape and human history. Let me share with you the travel guide to Dongji Island in Zhoushan.

I have crossed mountains and seas, and also passed through mountains and seas of people.

I don’t know why I am so keen on ships, especially the ships floating on the sea. The standing masts and fluttering sails are like longings. I want to look at them. , stare at it and even want to hug it.

I went to Zhoushan Dongji Island to watch the sea, boats, small towns and the sunrise. I was mesmerized by the few songs, dozens of small towns, thousands of miles of land, tens of thousands of people and hundreds of millions of waves on the way.

Dongji Island is so beautiful, this was the first thing I said when I set foot on Dongfushan Island. The white lighthouse in front of the island stands quietly on the sea, like a guard guarding mysterious and beautiful dreams. I don’t know how many people it has witnessed the eager yearning to cross the ocean, or how many sad people it has accompanied. I felt lonely and lonely, but at that moment I knew it had seen me, its orange light flashing in the raging sea breeze and deafening waves, in the sleep of passengers and in their suitcases.

I love its night, just like the giant lit a bunch of beacon fires on the island, like the naughty girl holding a bunch of fireflies and couldn't bear to let them fly away. The lights are not bright, and the light shines through the square windows and is scattered sparsely, but it is more romantic on the island. I also like its sultry night wind mixed with the barbecue smell of the ocean dinner. Hair that couldn’t be more messy, coats that couldn’t be wrapped tighter, sitting around in a tent that couldn’t be casual, eating egg fried rice and seafood noodles. The taverns on the island are more lonely and less visited. The tourists are probably sleeping peacefully in dreams with the salty taste of the sea.

Love the bright moon rising over its sea, the sudden glimpse of moonlight. I have probably never seen the moonlight so close in my life. It was like a craftsman delicately embroidering it on the night sky. I couldn't bear the moon to hang alone, so I added white clouds to accompany it, so it gently and comfortably shed a piece of light on the sea. There are no girls on the sea carrying dresses, otherwise I would carry your skirts for you.

I also like the early morning. The green cacti grow like hair on the island and dance non-stop when encountering the morning light. I have never seen groups of zebras crossing the river, nor have I seen the spectacular sight of dolphins migrating in groups. However, I have seen groups of cacti growing prosperously on the islands and the leggy postures of succulents. Feeling in the dark, we climbed up the cliff along the rocky path. We sat on the rock, blowing the sea breeze. At that moment, all our thoughts were magically drowned in the sea, and we only thought about the sunrise. In the easternmost place where the first ray of sunlight shines, a group of people from thousands of miles away gather together just to wait for the sunrise. Fortunately, I waited until the sunrise and my thoughts came true.

The journey went smoothly. We left Dongfuku Island and returned to Miaozi Lake Island. There will be no scheduled shooting locations in the future. I didn’t go to Cai Bo Gong Temple or see the paintings of Dongji fishermen. Instead, he looked for the post office on the island and walked around the pedestrian street. It's a pity that the grandfather on the island is not taking care of the post office and has already closed the door. Otherwise, you can send yourself a postcard from the easternmost island. The difference between Miaozi Lake and Dongfukushima is that Miaozi Lake is closer to life and has more residents on the island. They do small business, sell some seafood, small handicrafts, or open a small supermarket and grocery store. Most of the places in Higashi Fukushima are B&Bs and food stalls. ?

The purpose of this time is to go to Dongfu to watch the sunrise, but if I am not pressed for time, I think I will stay quietly on Miaozi Lake Island for a day and find a simple home to stay. Look at the paintings of fishermen or help the shopkeeper with his small business. At dusk, I watch the sunset on the reef, the joy of the fishermen closing their nets, the sails of the passing ships and the travelers coming and going, and fully experience the local island customs. At this moment, I am not a traveler, but a traveler. Island people love the sea, the waves, and the whistle of the ship arriving at the shore.

Then we will see you later, an island town.
