Travel experience in frisco, Colorado, USA

During the summer vacation, my family of three went to go on road trip in the western United States. On July 27th, I arrived in frisco, a small town in Colorado. The town has mountains and water, beautiful scenery and pleasant climate. Early the next morning, we climbed Buffalo Mountain near the town on foot. The scenery in the mountains is very beautiful. At the foot of the mountain is a dense broad-leaved forest, which gradually transitions to coniferous forest, and then is a grassland full of all kinds of wild flowers. Incredibly, there is a small lake full of water lilies near the top of the mountain.

Having a good time, we decided to go down the mountain by another way. It was nearly 4 o'clock in the afternoon when we reached a road near the foot of the mountain. This road is built beside the mountain. There are no cars and people on the road, and there is no signal when you turn on your cell phone. Only then did we find that we came to the other side of the big mountain and couldn't find the way back. Turn back the original way, there is not enough time. No choice but to drag my tired body along the road.

There are one beautiful cabin after another by the roadside. We tried knocking at several doors, but no one answered. Just when I was disheartened, I suddenly saw a figure in the distance, a big boy running in our direction. We kept waving to him excitedly, and the big boy who was sweating ran to our side and stopped.

That big boy is very enthusiastic. After listening to our detailed description, he told us that this is another town, far from our hotel in San Francisco. If we insist on walking back, we won't get to the hotel before dark. The big boy suggested that we go back to the hotel by bus. Finding it difficult for us to find the bus stop, he enthusiastically offered to drive us to the station.

A few minutes later, the big boy came to us in his car. On the bus, the big boy told us that his name was Kevin. He grew up in Iowa and moved to a company in Denver after graduating from college. He is on holiday these days. He is here for a holiday. After talking and laughing for more than ten minutes on Panshan Highway, we arrived at the bus stop. Thanks to his kind help, we returned to the hotel smoothly.

In hindsight, this road is really long and there are many forks in the road. If no one leads the way, we really can't guarantee that we can walk to the station. Even if we don't go the wrong way, it's just the three of us walking around in such a remote mountainous area. I really don't know when we can get back to the hotel.

Kevin's appearance has gradually blurred in my memory, and I can't remember what I talked about that day. Only that afternoon, the kindness from strangers and the good feeling of gratitude remained in our hearts for a long time. Now that I think about it, my heart is still filled with emotion.
