Introduction of one-day tour of Jinniu Lake

Jinniu Lake is located in the northeast of Liuhe District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, connecting Jiangsu, Anhui, Liuhe, Tianchang and Yizheng provinces. It is a national AAAA tourist scenic spot, a national water conservancy scenic spot and a provincial forest park. Jinniu Lake is the source of the classic folk song Jasmine, with a total area of 25,000 mu. According to legend, Zhu Yuanzhang used to herd cattle here when he was a teenager. Jinniu Lake was originally Jinniushan Reservoir and was built in 1958. It is the largest artificial lake in Nanjing. The lake is named after the mountain, and the mountain is colored by the water.

On August 14, 2006, Jinniu Lake Scenic Area passed the evaluation and became the first national water conservancy scenic area in Nanjing. Jinniu Lake provided convenience for sailing boats and other competition venues in Nanjing 20 14 Youth Olympic Games. Jinniu Lake was originally Jinniushan Reservoir and was built in 1958. At that time, hundreds of farmers from many rural production teams in the downstream collectively dug holes and shoveled shoulders, and built a large reservoir.

Natural landscape

Jinniu Lake Scenic Area, with a total planned area of 23.5 square kilometers, is one of the national AAAA tourist attractions, national water conservancy scenic spots, provincial forest parks, national pollution-free aquatic product breeding bases and national geological parks, and one of the top ten scenic spots in Nanjing and the new 55 scenic spots in Jinling. Out of Liuhe, three or four miles north along Jinjiang Highway, you arrive at Jinniu Lake, which is blue agate in color and velvet in shape, lying between the peaks, namely Jinniu Lake, known as Nanjing West Lake and nicknamed Natural Oxygen Bar.

Jinniu Lake connects Jiangsu, Anhui, Liuhe, Tianchang and Yizheng provinces, and the lake flows southward through Babai River and Chuhe River into the Yangtze River. Jinniu Lake Scenic Area is rich in tourism resources and well protected in ecological environment. Ancient and famous trees, exotic flowers and different grasses have different postures and colorful colors. The beautification and greening area is 5,000 mu, and the vegetation coverage rate is 96%, which makes the forest landscape more colorful.
