On October 20th, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism issued a notice on the pilot resumption of travel agencies' operation of China citizens' outbound teams to travel to relevant countries.

First of all, the timetable

From February 6, 2023, the national travel agencies and online travel enterprises will be restored on a pilot basis to operate China citizens' outbound group tours and "air tickets+hotels" services.

From now on, travel agencies and online travel companies can make preparations for product release, publicity and promotion.

Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Laos, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Kenya, South Africa, Russia, Switzerland, Hungary, New Zealand, Fiji, Cuba and Argentina.

Strengthen responsibility. All localities should fully understand the significance of resuming the pilot operation of China citizens' outbound team tourism by travel agencies to promote the recovery and development of tourism in relevant countries. Strengthen supervision and law enforcement. All localities should strictly require travel agencies to effectively implement the "one group, one newspaper" system and timely and accurately fill in the information of outbound tourism teams on the national tourism supervision service platform. Travel agencies and online travel enterprises are not allowed to carry out outbound group tours and "air ticket+hotel" business in violation of the time schedule or beyond the scope of the national list. Strengthen the supervision and inspection of travel agencies and online travel enterprises, investigate and deal with illegal business practices such as "unreasonable low-cost tours", arranging tourists to visit or participate in projects or activities that violate China laws, regulations and social ethics, and earnestly safeguard the order of the tourism market.
