What is Tonghua most famous for?

Tonghua is located in the hinterland of Changbai Mountain in the southeastern part of Jilin Province, with an area of ??15,195 square kilometers and a population of 2.3 million. It faces North Korea across the river and is one of my country's three major ports with North Korea. Tonghua is blessed with abundant resources. The city's forest coverage rate is as high as 62.9%, which is 45.4 percentage points higher than the national average. There are 4 national forest parks, 4 of China's largest crater lakes, and particularly abundant water resources.

It is precisely because of the rich forests and water resources that Tonghua has the reputation of "three-dimensional resource treasure house" and "four townships": Tonghua is one of the "three major natural medicine warehouses in China", and naturally it is "The Hometown of Traditional Chinese Medicine"; the civilized Tonghua wild grapes have created the "Hometown of Chinese Wine"; the magical forests and mountains of Changbai Mountain are the "Hometown of Chinese Ginseng"; the advantages of mountain spring water resources have made Tonghua "the Hometown of High-Quality Rice" Township". These "Four Townships" concretely interpret the "three-dimensional resource library", but they cannot fully reflect the full picture of Tonghua's products and human resources. Tonghua has more than 1,100 kinds of medicinal resources; more than 190 kinds of green food resources; more than 100 kinds of wild animal resources; and 76 kinds of mineral resources.

In addition, Tonghua also has long historical, cultural and tourism resources. This is the birthplace of the Qing Dynasty founded by Nurhaci, and the capital of Goguryeo, the minority regime in Northeast my country, which lasted for 425 years (from 3 to 427 AD) in Ji'an. On July 1, 2004, Goguryeo's royal castle, royal tombs and noble tombs were included in the "World Cultural Heritage List", becoming China's 30th world cultural heritage.
