This article provides an overview of the trends in spa, wellness and medical tourism in Montenegro and the United States, more specifically the US state of Oregon. The language and operation methods of "wellness tourism" in Oregon are obviously different from those widely used in Europe; in Europe, this concept has long been established in terms of its legal and cultural nature. Therefore, the points highlighted in this article are intended to stimulate further discussion of the key benefits of wellness tourism in Montenegro.
