End point: Beidaihe District

When visiting tourist attractions, I would definitely recommend accommodation in Beidaihe.

Because the scenic spots in Beidaihe are mainly visited in the morning and evening, you can go to other scenic spots during the day, and Beidaihe is the most fun in the morning and evening.

The first thing is to watch the sunrise. In fact, you can watch the sunrise on the entire eastern beach of Beidaihe. You can also watch the sunrise in Pigeon Nest Park and Biluota Park.

But it is not recommended to buy tickets to see it. You can also dig crabs and collect shells and starfish in the morning.

The night view of Olympic Avenue Park at night, the performance and scenery of Biluota Park are very good.

There are also Hongshi Road and Laoheishi Road, which are also the busiest places, as well as Shitang Road Night Market.

For other attractions in Beidaihe, it is recommended to visit the Excitement Tourist Park and Wildlife Park.

The Dolphinarium in the Underwater World in the harbor area is pretty good, and there is also the Princess Cruise, which is recommended for those taking a big ship, as it is relatively new.

The two attractions are very close to each other, so it is recommended to go there in one day.

Nandaihe is mainly the Nandaihe Entertainment Center. There are many activities and there are many people in the peak season. For attractions with queues like this,

it is recommended that you don’t come during holidays and peak seasons. The best time to visit these attractions is from the end of June to mid-August to mid-September. At that time, there are fewer people and no queues, you can have a good time and the weather is comfortable and neither hot nor cold.

Other attractions in Nandaihe include Xianluo Island, Water Park, Sand Sculpture World, etc.

Changli’s Gold Coast is the place with the best sand, and sand and grass skiing are all natural. Recommended for those who like taking pictures and playing in the water.

There are not many entertainment facilities and the scenery is very good.

Shanhaiguan District only recommends Yansai Lake Scenic Area and Ledao Ocean Park.

The others are all about the Great Wall, and I have no interest in them.

Other attractions include Qinglong’s Zushan Mountain, which can be visited by those who like mountain climbing.

The most important problem is hotel accommodation. Family hotels are the most economical part of tourist accommodation. Hotel prices generally rise a lot during the peak season. Family hotels are suitable for the needs of most people traveling on an economical basis. There are mainly several areas for family hotels in Beidaihe. The most popular one is Liuzhuang. Liuzhuang's family hotel accommodation area is from Tokyo Road in Zhongtan Bathing Beach to Lianfeng Road, Yuhua Road, Hongshi Road, and Laoheishi Road.

Liuzhuang is relatively large and is divided into north and south rows from Lianfeng Road. The south side is closer to the seaside, and the apartment building is the closest to the beach, which takes 3-5 minutes to walk.

The second is Liuzhuang Beili, which only has a number, which takes about 5-8 minutes, and then, whichever building has the same number, can walk to the beach in 8-15 minutes. The ones in the north are farther away, like

the ones with the same number in the row, Yuhua District 2, Yuhua District 3, and the ones on the north side of Hongshi Road. It takes about 15 to 30 minutes to walk to the beach. Other family hotel areas include the Chitu Mountain Family Hotel Area near Pigeon Nest, the single village to the east of the Olympic Park, the grassland near Pingshui Bridge and Shitang Road, Jifa

The ancient city near the tourist park, etc.

The best and most expensive hotels are those between Zhongtan Road and Tokyo Road. The ones near Laohushi Park are relatively affordable and

cheaper. Others include Dongshan Hotel Area, where there are fewer people and it’s very quiet. Peak season too.

The food in Beidaihe is very seasonal, which makes the catering industry not pay attention to quality, and they don’t want repeat customers anyway. This leads to

multiple versions of being slaughtered. In fact, the prices of small restaurants in Beidaihe are pretty good, not much more expensive than the snacks in Beijing and Tianjin. Food stalls are definitely a rip-off. Needless to say, they are expensive to get in and the food is not good. For example, if a crab looks alive, it looks empty, and if it looks heavy, it looks bad.

So I recommend everyone to go to a small restaurant to eat some side dishes. You can buy seafood at Shitang Road Market. There is a seafood processing shop on the 2nd floor of Shitang Road, and the price is not expensive.

The seafood on Shitang Road is basically large enough, so you can buy it with confidence. Or if you want to buy some seafood, go to the hotel owner. There will be one or two familiar seafood sellers in each house. The boss will take you there and tell you whether the portion is large enough, but the food is definitely good. Unless you bring your own scale, you can't calculate the weight. General seafood family hotels can also process it for free. Of course, this kind of processing is just cooking. The best season for eating seafood is September and November, when the seafood is all from the sea. Pipi shrimp is the only thing on May Day, and of course the price will not be low during the festival.
