China passport application procedure
I. Procedures to be Performed by the Applicant When a citizen applies for a passport abroad for personal reasons, he/she shall apply to the exit-entry administration department of the municipal or county public security bureau where his/her account is located, answer relevant inquiries, and perform the following procedures:
1. Submit the Approval Form for China Citizens to Apply for Going Abroad in duplicate and two complete photos (two inches in size) with my recent bareheaded photos;
2. Submit supporting materials corresponding to the reasons for leaving the country;
3. Submit the applicant's ID card or household registration book, and submit its copy.
Two. Relevant certification materials required by the applicant.
(1) Go abroad to visit relatives and friends. Invitations from relatives and friends and proof of residence of the inviter in the destination country must be submitted.

(2) Contents of ordinary invitation letter.
2. The residence certificate of the inviter in the destination country (one of the following is enough).

(3) Other certificates approved by the entry-exit administration department that can prove the inviter's legal residence in the destination country.
Returned overseas Chinese and their relatives shall issue a certificate issued by the overseas Chinese affairs office of the city or county where their household registration is located or the Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and their relatives. Citizens over the age of 60 and those who have gone abroad with their parents (or guardians) under the age of 16 only submit the opinions issued by the local police station where their unit or household registration is located, and are exempt from the invitation letter from relatives and friends and the residence certificate of the inviter in the contact country.
(2) Individuals travel abroad.
Proof of foreign exchange expenses required for travel (such as the applicant's bank deposit certificate) must be submitted. When the entry-exit administrative department deems it necessary, the applicant shall also submit an invitation letter or guarantee letter from overseas relatives and friends.
(3) study abroad at your own expense.
The admission notice issued by the receiving school must be submitted, and the applicant should also submit the necessary financial guarantee certificate when the entry-exit administration department deems it necessary. Those with college education or above who apply for studying abroad at their own expense shall submit the Qualification Examination Certificate for Studying Abroad at Their Own Expense issued by the provincial education authorities. To study religious courses abroad (including studying in domestic religious colleges), a certificate of consent issued by the Bureau of Religious Affairs at or above the provincial level shall be submitted. Public students (including international students from countries and institutions) must submit a complete Registration Form for Public Students to Apply for Passports.
(4) go abroad to settle down.
The residence permit certificate of the competent department of the national government or embassies and consulates in China or the certificate that relatives and friends agree to settle in the proposed residence shall be submitted.
(5) going abroad to inherit property. Proof of legal inheritance must be submitted.
(6) Individuals go abroad for employment.
Employment, employment unit or employer's employment certificate with legal effect in the destination country must be submitted.
A legally binding certificate refers to a certificate certified by the notary office of the destination country or the Chinese embassy or consulate abroad. The overseas laborers assisted by the labor service company shall submit the labor export certificate confirmed by the labor export agency that has the right to operate overseas labor services. Where an overseas employment service agency assists in handling overseas employment, it shall refer to the employment contract signed by the applicant and an overseas employer with the right to operate overseas employment confirmed by the overseas employment service agency.
(seven) the enterprise personnel go abroad because of their own business needs.
1. Submit a letter from a foreign company inviting the enterprise to go abroad.
2. Submit the industrial and commercial business license of the enterprise where the overseas personnel work, check the copy and get a copy.
3. Submit the letter signed by the legal representative of the enterprise and the opinions of the enterprise on going abroad. When the person in charge of the enterprise goes abroad, he must also submit the opinions of the higher authorities on his going abroad. Private enterprises and individual businessmen who go abroad on business are members of the Federation of Industry and Commerce, and opinions are issued by the private enterprise associations or individual workers associations of cities and counties (districts).
4. Submit an invitation letter from a foreign employment contact unit. This letter was written in a foreign language. At the same time, Chinese translation is attached. The original and two copies of this letter should be submitted. One copy shall be kept by the accepting and approving authority and the examining authority respectively, and the original copy shall be returned to the applicant after the examination and approval.
5. Submit other supporting materials required by the examination and approval authority for examination and approval.
6 "China citizen exit application form" in duplicate, which shall be truthfully filled out by the person who intends to go abroad, with photos attached, and used as an exit certificate.
(eight) to engage in other unofficial activities abroad, you must submit the corresponding foreign invitation.
