Everyone has different feelings, but the understanding is the same. You can feel the difference here ’s style, let me share with you the specific ticket prices.

Under the guidance of the tour guide, we began to visit the core scenic spot of Yuntai Mountain - Hongshi Gorge. This is the most beautiful scenic spot in Yuntai Mountain. It belongs to the unique Danxia landform. The exposed rock cliffs are all red. The canyon has been deeply cut by the water body for thousands of years and is equipped with strange stone waterfalls. The strange scenery is secluded, with flowing water and flying rocks. Showcasing the uncanny craftsmanship of nature.

Hongshi Gorge is 1,500 meters long, about 5-20 meters wide, and nearly 100 meters high. The canyon is tens of meters deep and is in a zigzag shape.

Looking down at the scenery of Hongshi Gorge from a high place.

This red stone themed stele has a history of 1-1.4 billion years. The wave pattern behind the inscription engraved the blending of water and stone at that time, witnessing the magic of nature with water dripping through stone.

Go down the ladder and enter the canyon. The canyon has steep cliffs and is cool and humid. Walking in the canyon requires you to lower your head, bend down or turn sideways from time to time, which is reflected in the strange and dangerous situation. Hongshixia is said to be a geological relic caused by crustal movement 1.4 billion years ago. It is called "a reduced landscape world and an enlarged artistic bonsai".

The ancient beach - the piece of red quartz sandstone under our feet is more than 150 meters thick and was formed in the coastal beach environment 1.2 billion years ago. With the rise and fall of sea level at that time, this area sometimes sank to the bottom of the sea and sometimes emerged from the sea surface, thus forming a coastal form, aeolian dune form and intertidal form of sedimentary construction, leaving cross-bedding and ripple marks in the rocks. , mud cracks and other rich sedimentary structural relics. The red color in sandstone is formed by the oxidation of iron. Due to the uneven iron content, the sandstone has different shades of tones, forming various beautiful patterns.

In Hongshi Gorge, you can see rocks from various geological ages, from limestone 400 million years ago to quartzite 1 billion years ago.

When walking on the plank road in the valley, looking up, you can see the cliffs on both sides, intertwined with each other. The entire path is a one-way street, and only two people can pass at the narrowest point.

A thin line of sky, where the water cuts the mountain and flows rapidly down. The cliffs are towering and Cui Wei confronts each other. There is only a thin line of sky and earth left between the two mountains.

All adjectives pale in comparison to the miraculous craftsmanship of nature. In comparison, photos can better express the beauty of the canyon.

Introduction to stalactites: The stalactites here are sufficient water contained in the Wenpanyu Mountains that permeate vertically along the limestone. After the limestone is dissolved, the aqueous solution containing calcium carbonate is adsorbed on the rock wall at the cracks in the quartzite. on, formed by long-term deposition. Because there is no sunlight all day long here, coupled with the high quality of calcium, the white and crystal clear stalactites are formed today.

At 12:17, after walking for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, we arrived at Huanglong Waterfall. Huanglong Waterfall, the silver-white water pours down from the top of the valley, elegant and graceful. The sound of the waterfall is like torrential rain and like cracking silk, which is very spectacular. If you get close to the waterfall, you will get splashed with water.

Xiaozhaigou: Tanpu Gorge, Quanpu Gorge, Macaque Valley

After visiting Zifang Lake, then take a bus to the next attraction - Xiaozhaigou. Xiaozhaigou contains three scenic spots: Tanpu Gorge, Quanpu Gorge, and Macaque Valley.

Xiaozhaigou is said to be the place where Liu Wuzhou, the hero of the peasant uprising in the late Sui Dynasty, and Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, set up camp. The total length is about 2 kilometers, with mountains facing each other and a canyon in the middle. There are huge rocks standing at the bottom of the valley, and the stream is trickling; every three steps, there is a spring, and every five steps, there is a pool, which is known as the "Tan Waterfall River". The valley has mild spring and winter and cool summer and autumn, so it is also called "Changchun Valley". The most spectacular one is the Y Waterfall Pool. The waterfall is more than 20 meters high and connected up and down to form a "Y" shape. The water under the waterfall accumulates into a pool, which is emerald green and covers an area of ??more than 100 square meters. There is a large area around the pool for recreation. . There are also water features such as "Water Curtain Cave", "Phoenix Tail Beads", "White Snake Coming Out of the Cave", "God Turtle Spitting Beads", "Canglong Spray" and so on. At the end of the ditch, surrounded by cliffs, looking up at the sky, it feels like sitting in a well and looking at the sky. In the valley, the spring water gathered into a shallow lake, which is said to be Li Shimin's horse-drinking pond. There are many strange stones in the moor, including Butterfly Stone, Sword Testing Stone, Pointing General Platform, Stone Boat and other scenic spots.

Tanpu Gorge

Tanpu Gorge is the main representative of the best canyons in Yuntai Mountain. The scenery in the valley is pleasant, just like in the south of the Yangtze River. "One spring at three steps, a waterfall at five steps, and a pool at ten steps" is a true portrayal of the beautiful scenery of Tanpu Gorge.

The ditch is 1,270 meters long and runs north-south. In the winding ditch, there is a small stream. Its stream bed is composed of layers of natural rocks of different heights, colors, widths, twists and shapes. It is composed of mountain stone steps. The creek may have rippling blue waves, or it may divide into trickles, or it may merge with the rapids, or it may pour or fall into a sparkling silver waterfall. The water accumulated under the waterfall will become a colorful pool?

The shape of the boulder is like a Peach, there is a big word "longevity" carved on the stone. This is the longevity stone.

Lover Falls. The waterfalls fall from the high rocks. The waterfalls are divided into three layers, and there are two waterfalls on each fault that attract each other and flow into a pool, like lovers whispering as their ears rub against their temples.

There are many tourists taking photos.

The name of the attraction here is - Golden Dragon Wobo.

The name of the attraction here is - Y-shaped waterfall. The waterfall is more than ten meters high, and the pool under the waterfall is five or six meters deep. Hanging on the two-story mountain steps, it is in the shape of Y. Under the Y-shaped waterfall, there is a clear clear water with wide water surface.

"If the water is clear, there will be no fish", but here it is just the opposite.

Water Curtain Cave is a natural cave with a stone eaves of water plants on the roof, and a bead curtain seven or eight meters high hanging on the stone eaves. Lines of water droplets hang down from the cave ceiling like crystal clear pearls.

Travertine dam and water curtain waterfall. Under the "U"-shaped cliff wall of Tanpu Garden, there are accumulations of collapsed rocks more than a hundred meters wide and several hundred meters long. When the spring water flows through the collapse body, the calcium precipitated from the water continuously accumulates on the outer edge, forming a travertine dam tens of meters high. There are lush herbaceous plants on the dam, and the spring water flows along the vegetation, shaped like thousands of silk ribbons, like a flowing water curtain, so it is called Water Curtain Cave.

The Fountain of Youth is also called Biyutan. The water in Jasper Pool is turquoise, clear and beautiful, just like a piece of jasper inlaid in the canyon. Tourists drink from the spring water one after another, which means immortality.

Continuing forward, there is a huge stone, which is the "Tang Wang Sword Testing Stone". Legend has it that when King Li Shimin of the Tang Dynasty attacked Liu Wuzhou, one of the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Forest, Xiang Xiu, presented a sword to Li Shimin. The straight cracks left on the boulder were traces left by the King of Tang when he tried his sword, hence the name "Tang King's Sword Test Stone" .

The waterfall can be seen in the distance.

Arrived at "Inkstone Washing Pond" at 14:57. It is said that the "Seven Sages of the Bamboo Forest" lived in seclusion in Yuntai Mountain during the Eastern Jin Dynasty. They were all suave and talented people at that time. They often wrote and wrote articles and often washed inkstones in this pool, so this pool got its name. "Inkstone Washing Pool"

Arrived at Longfengbi at 15:00, located at the end of Tanpu Gorge. Over the past 2.6 million years, due to the synergistic action of surface water and underground water, an urn-shaped valley wall with three cliffs and an open side, with a small mouth and a large belly, was formed.

Looking up, a flying spring sprays out from the 40-meter-high cliff, forming a scenic view of hanging springs and waterfalls. The waterfall is half way up in the sky, and the sound is flying down to the world. ——Li Mengyang (Ming Dynasty)

Thousands of rocks and ravines have never been spared, and only when you look at it from a distance can you tell where it comes from. How can a stream be kept? It will eventually become a wave in the sea. ——Li Chen (Tang Dynasty)

Those who have penetrated the heaven and earth and worked tirelessly will only know the source in the end. ——Feng Yunshan (Qing Dynasty)

The elites have been accumulated for several times, but the loss of momentum is like thunder. ——Jiang Shiquan (Qing Dynasty)

The strength of the five stacks and the six stacks is getting higher and higher, and the roar is loud when it plummets. ——Yuan Mei (Qing Dynasty)

The humidity is very high, and I am afraid that water droplets will splash on the camera. After admiring the waterfall, follow the tour guide to the next attraction - Macaque Valley.

Macaque Valley

At about 15:51, we arrived at Macaque Valley.

Next to Tanpu Gorge is the Macaque Valley, but there are no wild macaques in the valley. There are a few monkeys in iron cages at the foot of the mountain, and an old monkey performer on the mountain tied the monkeys with ropes to perform monkey tricks. At about 16:30, we finished visiting Macaque Valley and checked into the hotel to rest after leaving the scenic area.

The next day: July 11

Zhuyu Peak

Zhuyu Peak is the main peak of Yuntai Mountain, with an altitude of 1297.6 meters. It was called "Busan" in ancient times. It is because it is like a big pot flipped over the peaks, and the name "Yuntai" probably comes from this.

The tickets for Yuntai Mountain are valid for two days. Go directly to Zhuyu Peak after breakfast the next day, and arrive at the entrance of the scenic spot at 9:47. This is a huge stone standing in the parking lot, with the carving "Zhuyu Peak" on it. peak.

Zhuyu Peak was named after a poem by Wang Wei, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty, "Remembering the Shandong Brothers on September 9th" - "I am a stranger in a foreign land alone, and I miss my relatives even more during the holidays. I know where my brothers are climbing from afar." ", one less person is planted everywhere" - famously, there is a white marble statue of Wang Wei at the entrance of the scenic spot.

Overlooking the mountains.

Looking down, there are so many tourists.

The scenery is beautiful.

Looking at the thrilling winding mountain road at the foot of the mountain is very spectacular.

We arrived at Zhuyu Peak at 10:25, and it only took an hour to climb the mountain. The joy of mountain climbing lies not in what is on the top, but in the process of conquering it.

There are so many tourists that it becomes a group photo if you are not careful. The weather is very hot, and you can clearly see from the photo that the middle part of the T-shirt is soaked with sweat.

Views taken at the top of the mountain. Looking at the mountains in the distance, they are all green, the breeze is blowing, and the floating clouds are looming. I feel relaxed and happy, forgetting all the favors and disgrace.

You will be at the top of the mountain, and you will have a panoramic view of the mountains.

Yuntai Mountain is called "North Peak" in the Taoist system, which has the same status as Wudang Mountain is called "South Peak". In recent years, Huiyun Daochang Temple was built in the Tang Dynasty, and Xuanyuchang Temple was the most severely damaged. Xuandi Hall is mainly composed of "Zhenwu Hall", "Empress Hall" and "Wealth Hall". The bronze statue of Emperor Zhenwu in Zhenwu Hall is 3.45 meters high and is the tallest bronze statue in China. Emperor Zhenwu is a northern god in Han myths and legends. It is said that he was the son of Pangu. He was the son of two emperors, Yan and Huang. He was born in Fuxi and is the ancestor of the Chinese dragon. According to Taoist legend, Emperor Zhenwu cultivated himself to become an immortal in Yuntai Mountain, and was later sent to guard Wudang Mountain. Xuandi Palace became his palace. Every year, Emperor Zhenwu would return to Emperor Xuan's Hall in Yuntai Mountain and stay in Xili to show his spirit. Therefore, Xuandi Palace has always been a place for burning incense.

Couplet on the pillars of the Zhenwu Palace: One sword soared into the sky and Han San San saved all sentient beings; five dragons held the saint and drove him for ninety-nine periods of success.

The temple on the right is the Temple of Wealth. Couplets on the pillars of the palace: Respect the heaven and earth and worship the gods and never break faith with others; pray to the God of Wealth and worship the God of Wealth, but seek righteousness and gain.

The hall on the left is the Empress Hall. Couplet on the pillars of the palace: Everything depends on human beings, everything is fate; the situation is created by the heart, and it will naturally become wider if you take a step back.

After playing for about 35 minutes, we started going down the mountain at 11 o'clock.

It took about 40 minutes to go down the mountain to the parking lot. Then go to Wanshan Temple.

Wanshan Temple

Wanshan Temple is located under the nipple-shaped peak of Yanwangbi, surrounded by mountains on all sides, with beautiful scenery. It is said that during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang built a temple on Yuntai Mountain in order to repay Master Wuxu's help and named it "Wanshan Temple". Master Wuxu was stationed in Wuxi and was known as the 24th generation Linji Patriarch. Wanshan Temple became the Linji Patriarch. At that time, there were 64 temples here. At the end of the Ming Dynasty and the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, many Ming officials became monks here. They were hunted down by Qing soldiers and the temples were destroyed. After reconstruction, it was destroyed during the Anti-Japanese War and rebuilt in 1990. Another saying is that the temple was built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, when Yuntai Mountain was chosen to build the temple, which meant that it was in the center of the four directions, and Wanfa belonged to the sect. Another one talks about the imperial style in which the imperial court built a palace to manage this place, and named the temple in the palace Shenzong Yuci.

In the middle of the upper eaves of the stone archway: Wanshan Holy Temple. On the right: Sutra and Secret; on the left: Yuantong. Couplet on the archway: All the saints inside and outside the three realms gather together in the fairy mountain resort; all the good people above and below the cloud platform work together to cultivate the path and fruit of Bodhi.

Couplet on the gate: Although the rain in the sky is wide, it has no roots and no moisturizing, but it is necessary to make compassionate wishes; Buddhism is vast and unwholesome, and it is difficult to cultivate the cause and condition of Bodhi.

At about 13:30, the tour of Wanshan Temple was completed, ending the two-day tour of Yuntai Mountain.
