Is Shanghai Tourism College a junior college or an undergraduate course?

Shanghai Tourism College is a junior college. Founded in 1979, the school is the earliest independent tourism college in China. It once belonged to the former National Tourism Administration and was managed by Shanghai in 2000.

In August 2003, with the approval of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, Shanghai Tourism College merged with the School of Urban and Tourism of Shanghai Normal University to form the Tourism College of Shanghai Normal University, and carried out academic education at all levels from junior college to master's degree. At the same time, Shanghai Tourism College still carries out professional education as an independent legal entity. On 20 1 1 year, the school successfully passed the acceptance of the construction plan of national demonstration higher vocational colleges by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance, and became the only national demonstration higher vocational college in China.

There are 4,965 full-time undergraduates (undergraduate students 1.508, junior college students 3,457), 25 graduate students/kloc-0 (doctoral students 25, master students 203), 226 night university students and 55 international students. Over the past 30 years, the school has trained more than 50,000 talents at all levels. Two-thirds of its graduates are stable in the tourism industry, and a considerable number of graduates play an important role in leading the development of tourism.
