According to the place names of Yixian, the names of Lengjiagou and Dashi Lake come from a beautiful legend. A long time ago, the top of Dashi Lake was a mountain lake. Every year, people take water from the lake and water the fertile land below, making it beautiful, with abundant crops, evergreen pines and cypresses and blooming flowers. This year, there was a great drought in the world, and the Queen Mother was moved with compassion and threw the pearls on her head to the ground to solve the drought. A tyrannical Qinglong saw that the pearl water was greedy for money, so he plunged into the lake to find the pearl water, which aroused the waves in the lake. The waves rolled over from the top of the mountain and plunged dozens of villages below into Wang Yang. At the foot of the mountain lived eight brothers named Leng, who were fighting with Qinglong with a steel hammer. Qinglong was finally nailed to the bottom of the lake by eight brothers. Tsing lung was in unbearable pain, and kept hitting the cliff with its tail, gradually making a gap on the cliff. The lake keeps flowing down, forming a waterfall and converging into a lake at the foot of the mountain. This is Dashi Lake.

Afraid of another dragon accident, the eight brothers built houses on eight nearby mountains and settled down to protect the pearls. The last eight brothers, influenced by the essence of the sun and the moon and the aura of heaven and earth, turned into eight peaks and stood alone, and the village at the foot of the mountain was also changed into Lengjiagou.
