Another church on Weizhou Island, the 354 Church, was built around 1880 and was planned by French Catholic priest Li. The church, called Notre Dame Church, covers an area of ??774 square meters and is built of coral stone, pottery and wood. Ancillary buildings include temples, schools, hospitals, nurseries, etc. In front of Notre Dame is a three-story square bell tower, 4.5 meters wide and 14 meters high. The bell tower has Notre Dame engraved on its facade. Behind the bell tower is a rectangular church with a construction area of ??265 square meters.
