The legendary transportation address of Huludao Longhuitou Scenic Area and the best time to travel
Huludao City, Liaoning Province, is a place very suitable for summer and autumn travel. There is a sea view scenic spot called Longhuitou Scenic Area. There are several theories about the dragon raising its head, all of which are interesting. As long as there is the sea, there will be seafood. Yes, there is a lot of seafood here. In summer, it's also a great place for swimming and sunbathing on the beach.
We walked for more than three hours to Longhuitou Scenic Area. At that time, only this stone stood here.
There are two legends about Longhuitou Scenic Area:
The first legend is that Emperor Qianlong went out to play and passed by here on his way back to Beijing. Seeing this beautiful scenery, he looked back more than once. This is the origin of Longhuitou Scenic Area. The landscape terraces of Longhuitou Scenic Area are surrounded by mountains and sea, with undulating pines and rough waves. Under the steep cliff, there is a beautiful coastline. Looking up at the vast sea, you can also overlook the urban landscape of Huludao New Town.
The second legend is that sea monsters often haunt the Bohai Bay. One day, a dragon came here to practice. Seeing that the people here were being bullied by the sea monster, he used his magic to drive away the sea monster. After the sea monster is eliminated, his practice is completed and he is about to leave this land and water. The practicing dragon was reluctant to leave it and turned around frequently, hence the name Longhuitou Scenic Area.
In fact, this is a natural sea view attraction. Standing here overlooking the sea view, you will see a peninsula-shaped island extending into the sea, with a panoramic view of the blue sky and sea. After several years of construction, it became more and more beautiful.
There are many fish species in Huludao, which live in the estuaries of rivers, including swallow fish, snakehead fish, and salamander. Turbot (turbit) is a major feature of Huludao. In addition, crawling shrimp and sea cucumber are local specialties. In addition to seafood, there are also mountain products. For example, Suizhong apples, Banshigou jujubes, white pears, etc. There are Hongluo County dried tofu, Jianchang boiled dried tofu, Gaoqiao vermicelli, etc.

You need to wear a thin jacket when it gets a bit cold at night, but the advantage is that there are fewer people. At this time, you can not only enjoy the embrace of the sea, but also sleep with the waves and taste delicious seafood. Huludao has slightly less precipitation in spring, lower temperatures, and occasional strong winds. Huludao is the most attractive place in summer. The sun, sea, and beaches here make it an excellent place for summer vacation and leisure. Autumn is short, but fruits are plentiful, while winter temperatures drop and are colder. Topography Huludao City is surrounded by mountains and the sea. The terrain gradually decreases from northwest to southeast, forming a long and narrow coastal plain on the coast of the Bohai Sea, known as the "Western Liaoning Corridor". The southern foothills of Songnan Mountain and the Yanshan Mountains lie in the northwest, forming a barrier in the northwest of Huludao.
