Beijing Huailai County is about 8 kilometers away from Beijing.

It is a natural desert with an area of 1,3 mu, just at the foot of Yanshan Mountain in Guanting Reservoir. And there is a piece of sand between mountains and rivers. More than ten miles away are surrounded by sand dunes, with unique desert scenery and a unique name, Mo Tian.

Some people say that the sand dunes were blown here by the wind, while others say that nothing can survive but become sand dunes because of the special terrain.

Driving route:

From Jingcheng Expressway on Madian Bridge on the Third Ring Road in Beijing to Badaling Great Wall Scenic Area, then turn right to the direction of Yanqing Kangzhuang, and go all the way west through Kangzhuang Town. Turn left at the fork in Huailai direction, pass through Xiaonan Xinbao Town, and finally enter Mo Tian Scenic Area through the Hedong entrance of a gravel road.
