Route recommendation

There are three ways to visit the Li River:

1. Cruise ship:

(1) The upper and lower reaches of the Li River in Yangshuo (tour route: Yangshuo Puyi). Ticket price: 160 yuan; half ticket, 80 yuan. Take a boat from the port outside Yangshuo Water East Gate to Puyi. The total tour time is approximately 3 hours. Tourist attractions along the way include: Lianbi Peak, Reading List, Shutong Mountain Scenic Area, etc.

(2) Lijiang Essence Tour, Tour Route: The approximately 60-kilometer tour from Guilin Mopanshan Pier or Pearl River Pier to Yangshuo is a high-quality water tour route created by Guilin Lijiang Scenic Area. The cruise takes about 4 hours, and the scenic spots along the way include: Huangniu Gorge, Banbiandu, Yangdi Scenery, Shilang Range Rover, Jiuma Painting Mountain, Xingping, Huangbu Reflection, Luosi Mountain, etc.

(3) Upstream and downstream of the Li River in Guilin City, tour route: Longchuanping Longmu Cave; ticket price: full ticket: 65 yuan; half ticket: 33 yuan.

There are four bamboo rafts on the Li River: Caoping (Yanguan Pier), Yangdi Pier, Jiuma Huashan Pier, Xingping Chaojianshan Pier and Si A pier. There are generally two types of bamboo rafts on the Li River. One is the whole river bamboo raft, which is the entire section of 5A, from Caoping Pier (Yanguan Pier) to Xingping Intertidal Mountain Pier, and the other is Banjiang and Yangdi-Xing Flat section. One or four people (adults, up to two children under 1.3 meters per raft are free), but there are also people at the foot of Jiumahua Mountain. Tourists must pay attention when getting on and off the pier.

Advantages: You can get closer to the water, and the tour time is less than 2 hours. The most important thing is to visit the part from Yangdi to Xingping. The ticket for the big ship is cheaper.

Disadvantages: Must be a bamboo raft for 4 people. If there are not enough people, you have to buy empty seats or fight with others. You have to wear a life jacket the whole time, as it won’t look good when taking photos.

3. Hiking route:

Hiking on the Li River is flexible and usually takes two or three days. (Tour route: Dawei Ancient Town Gudong Waterfall Lijiang Scenic Area Lawn Lijiang Yanguan Banbiandu Yangdi Shilang Village Quanjiawan Old Village Xianggong Mountain Lengshuidong Jiumahuashan Xingping Ancient Town) The starting point for hiking on the Li River can be Dawei Ancient Town, Yan Guan, Yangdi or Xingping. 3. Xingping Ancient Town

There is also a direct cruise ship from Guilin to Yangshuo, which costs about 200 yuan. The most beautiful section is from Caoping-Yangdi-Jiumahuashan-Xingping-Yangshuo Fishing Village. From Yangshuo County, you can take a CMB back to Guilin, which takes more than an hour and costs 20 yuan/person. From Guilin to Yangshuo, if you take the land route, you can take a minibus to Yangshuo on the right side of the Guilin Railway Station Square, the fare is 20 yuan. Guilin Bus Station also has direct buses to China and Pakistan, costing more than 20 yuan.
