3. Yinchuan Huang Yu Pavilion

brief introduction

Yuhuangge is located at the intersection of Jiefang East Street and Yuhuangge North and South Street in xingqing district, Yinchuan City. Built in the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, it has a history of more than 600 years. It is a traditional wooden roof building with overlapping cornices, compact structure, exquisite and unique. Because there is a statue of the Jade Emperor cast in it, it is called the Jade Emperor Pavilion.

Huang Yu Pavilion is the only existing high-rise pavilion with ancient wooden structure in Yinchuan. 5. Huangsha Gudu original ecological tourist area

Ningxia Huangsha Old Capital National Wetland Park is a national AAAA-level tourist scenic spot, located in Yueyahu Township, xingqing district, Yinchuan City, close to the east bank of the Yellow River, about 28 kilometers away from downtown Yinchuan, 38 kilometers away from Hedong Airport and 43 kilometers away from Yinchuan Railway Station. The planned area of Wetland Park is about 32.4 square kilometers, which consists of functional service area, experimental area for sand prevention and promotion, ecological civilization exhibition area, Yellow River Wetland Protection Area, desert Happy Valley Area, Yellow River Old Capital Cultural Area, frontier fortress area and folk culture park.

Huangsha is the ancient Yellow River ferry and one of the eight scenic spots in Ningxia in Ming and Qing Dynasties. 7. Yinchuan Nanguan Mosque

9. Chengtian Temple Tower

brief introduction

In the middle of Chengtian Temple, an ancient pagoda stands in the clouds and is called "West Tower". It is the tallest brick tower among the existing 100 pagodas in Ningxia, and it is also the only ancient pagoda with a recorded age in Ningxia.

The gate of Chengtian Temple opens to the east, which is different from the gates of most temples in the Central Plains. It may be related to the worship of the East or the sun by Xixia people. After entering the gate, the main buildings such as Five Buddhas Hall, Pagoda, Wei Tuo Hall and Sleeping Buddha Hall are located on the east-west axis. The building is connected with small doors and walls, and the courtyard is visited. There is a very simple brick carving hanging on the small door. Climb the 60-meter-high Chengtian Temple Tower and overlook the old city of Yinchuan through the bright windows. 10, Helan Mountain Rock Painting

brief introduction

The paintings carved on rocks by ancient northern minorities show their yearning for a better life and reproduce the aesthetics, social customs and life interests at that time.

Among the numerous rock paintings in Helan Mountain, the most representative is the rock painting of the sun god, which embodies the worship of the sun by ancient humans.

There is also a museum of rock paintings in the scenic area, but mainly rock paintings and photos, with few original works.
