1. We must have enough time. It is a good choice to start preparing for the CET-4 test as soon as school starts. If it is later, you can also start preparing for the test after the holidays. Sufficient time will help us plan the preparation content without being rushed.
2. Purchase exam preparation materials. Exam questions and vocabulary books are two essential items. You should choose a vocabulary book that suits you, such as memorizing words in random order or memorizing words in regular order. It is recommended to buy a vocabulary book with example sentences, so that you can better memorize words. Buy real test papers from past years, preferably from the past five years.
3. Make a study plan that suits you. For example, how many words should be memorized every day, how many words should be reviewed, how many real questions should be done, what content should be listened to in listening, how many proverbs and slang should be memorized in composition, how long should it take to write a translation question, etc. Only with a reasonable study plan can preparation for the exam be easy and efficient.
4. Do the questions. Listening is the key content, and it is also the easiest item to score. Since listening accounts for a large proportion of the entire test paper, we must pay special attention to listening. The best listening practice materials are real questions from past years. Play them over and over again every day to familiarize your ears and learn more about answering techniques.
