Why are tourist attractions so expensive?

As far as the development of domestic tourism is concerned, the tourism department has paid attention to some scenic spots, used holidays to raise the ticket price crazily and made necessary guidance. Increasing or not increasing tickets is just a market behavior. Therefore, whether or not to increase, how much to increase, or even cancel tickets, must be decided by the management of the scenic spot according to the business philosophy. Generally speaking, private investment in scenic spots requires admission. The larger the scale of the scenic spots, the more investment and the more expensive the tickets will be. After all, the investment has gone in and we must find a way to recover it. Tickets for state-owned scenic spots depend on the situation. In some places, in order to limit the flow of people, ticket prices will be specially raised to reduce the number of tourists. But this is not absolute. For example, the ticket price of Putuo Mountain in Zhoushan is as high as 160 yuan/person, which not only cannot limit the flow of people, but makes pilgrims feel too expensive. The interest relationship among them is beyond my understanding, and some places even cancel tickets to attract tourists. The most representative thing is that Hangzhou cancelled the ticket prices of many parks around the West Lake a few years ago. Even so, Hangzhou has earned more tourism consumption income in other aspects. Therefore, the fees and price levels of scenic spots still depend on the situation.
