That year, I went to Baishui Village in Guangzhou with my parents for a leisure vacation. Baishui Village is located in the northeastern region of Guangzhou City, on one side of Nankun Mountain. The scenic area has dense forests, gorgeous scenery, and unique waterfalls. The air is rich in negative oxygen ions, which is extremely beneficial to human health.

The three of us drove out of the bustling city of Guangzhou around 9 a.m. and arrived at our destination after a two-hour drive. Baishui Village is truly well-deserved. Before we entered the scenic spot, we saw several white chains falling from the sky. It really felt like "the Milky Way has fallen from the sky". The white chain hangs down the mountain, and the clouds stand in the blue sky, just like a wonderful ink painting hanging between heaven and earth.

Because the mountain is high and steep, we decided to fill our stomachs first before riding up. The minibus experienced countless circles on the jungle curves. When it reached level 9999, I looked through the car window and saw a bright sapphire embedded in the green bushes leaping into my eyes. At this time, someone in the car shouted: "Look, Tianchi!" The car suddenly started boiling.

Tianchi looks small at first, but as the car goes down, it almost grows. By the time the car reached level 9999, it had become an endless lake. A nearly 1,000-meter-long stone dam tightly locks the vast hectares of lake water within the dam. The lake water is rippling with blue waves and clear ripples. Under the sunlight, the spots sparkle like countless diamonds scattered on the water. The brilliance is dazzling and makes people think.

Across the dam and on the left side of the dam foundation, a giant white dragon rushes out of the hole. Follow the mountain stream and enter the dense forest. I asked my father and found out that this is the spillway of Tianchi. We followed the "White Dragon" along the trail in the mountain stream and forest. About 500 meters, we came to Qianzhang Cliff. It blocked the head of water and allowed it to partially enter a large steel pipe that even four people could not surround. Dad said that the water in the pipe is used to generate electricity for living in the area and some public services, bringing light and happiness to the people here. Most of the water flew over the top of the thousand-foot cliff and fell down, forming the scene of the white chain falling for nine days that we originally saw.

Leaving Qianzhang Cliff and going down the stairs, you gradually heard the sound of dragon roars echoing in the canyon. This sound gives people a sense of excitement and anticipation. After searching for the sound, we came to the waterfall viewing platform at level 3999. We saw the waterfall rushing down from the top of the thousand-foot cliff with thunderous momentum, and the strong wind was carrying thousands of water droplets coming towards us. It gives people a chilling feeling.

We left the waterfall viewing platform with great nostalgia and reluctance.

Walking on the tree-lined path all the way down from the waterfall viewing platform. But I don't know when the sun has disappeared into the clouds. And faintly heard bursts of thunder. A strong wind blew down a lot of leaves. It seemed like thousands of troops were passing through the canyon. The air also seemed a bit dull. Mom said it might rain. As soon as I finished speaking, I heard someone shouting in the distance: "It's raining!" I looked for the sound and saw another gust of wind roaring in with heavy raindrops. Since there is no shelter from the rain on the mountain road, we were all soaked by the heavy rain in a moment. My mother protected me and finally returned to the base camp half an hour later. The rain came and went quickly. The weather in the mountains is so ever-changing. At the same time, it also allowed me to experience the scene of the storm approaching and the wind filling the building.

We left Baishui Village with nostalgia. This trip allowed me to fully appreciate the charm of nature.
