The Origin of Shenyang Forbidden City
Shenyang Imperial Palace is also called "Shenyang Imperial City". Built in Shunzhi period of Qing Dynasty, it was once the palace of Manchu princes and emperors in Qing Dynasty. In modern history, the Imperial Palace in Shenyang was looted by Chinese and foreign invaders many times. It was not until 1948 that the People's Liberation Army took control of the northeast that the Shenyang Forbidden City began to be restored and preserved. 1955, Shenyang Palace Museum was designated as Liaoning Provincial Museum and opened to the public one after another. Shenyang Forbidden City is an important cultural heritage and tourist attraction in Northeast China, with extremely rich historical and cultural accumulation and artistic value.
