Basic introduction to Luo Xing Dun

Luoxingdun is a famous tourist destination for archaeological remains in Jiujiang.

Luoxingdun is located on the waterfront of Poyang Lake three miles south of Xingzi County. It is a small stone island, as high as several feet, with about a hundred steps in and out, and a total area of ??only 1,800 square meters. At first glance, the stars appear to be floating on the water, but they are said to have been transformed by falling stars.

Jiang Zhiqi, a man from the Song Dynasty, described it in a poem: "Today the rocks in the lake were like the stars in the sky back then." Legend has it that an emperor from the Five Dynasties named it "Gem Mountain" and donated the "Fuxing Long'an Yuan" to be built on the stone pier.

After the Song Dynasty, all dynasties were repaired, and in the Ming Dynasty, pavilions and pavilions were added, such as Fuyu Tower, Yujing Pavilion, Gangyi Pavilion, Qinghui Pavilion, etc., but they have survived due to the vicissitudes of life. Bamboo trees grow on the top, and the pier is still elegant and beautiful. Standing on it: looking at Lushan Mountain from a distance, the majestic appearance is covered by light smoke; looking at the lake up close, the blue waves are the same as the sky.
