Huangshan is very cold in winter, especially at the top of Huangshan Mountain. It is recommended to bring down jackets, cotton trousers, hats, gloves, crutches and non-slip shoes (all the small supermarkets at the foot of Huangshan Mountain sell1a pair around 5 yuan). You'd better prepare some hot food such as chocolate, ham and sausage when climbing the mountain. If you want to live at the top of the mountain, you'd better book in advance and the price is favorable.
