If you travel to Yunnan, you must not miss the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain with an altitude of 5,596 meters. It is covered with snow all year round, but it feels very clean. Transportation?

1. Bus? (15 yuan/person): Bus No. 101, the starting station is Zhongyi Market in the ancient city-Guchengkou (big water wheel)-Heilongtan Park - Jade Dragon Snow Mountain

2. Recommend chartering a car? (round trip about 220 yuan): You can go to Dongba Valley to see Rizhao Jinshan Mountain in the morning, and then go to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and the driver will pick you up on the return trip

3. Minibuses (about 20 yuan/person): They can be found everywhere near the ancient city

Purchase tickets

Purchase tickets on the "Lijiang Tourism Group" applet? Tickets for the Big Ropeway Glacier Park are released at 20:00 the day before (it’s quite popular, so prepare in advance); tickets for the Middle Ropeway Maoniuping and Small Ropeway Yunshanping are released at 21:00 the day before.

Tickets for the big ropeway are the hardest to get. If you didn’t get a ticket at 20:00 the night before, you can consider immediately signing up for a one-day tour of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain the next day. Travel agencies will have tickets. Before purchasing tickets, fill in your personal information in the mini program in advance so that you can grab tickets directly when you arrive.

In addition to the cableway, the scenic spot also has two modes of transportation: one is the sightseeing bus (the bus in the snow mountain scenic spot is called "sightseeing bus"); the other is the sightseeing battery car (that is the common one) Sightseeing car, but it is called "battery car" in the scenic area here).

Must-see attractions:

Glacier Park

Take the big ropeway to get there. The ropeway takes more than ten minutes. This scenic spot is the most stunning and scenic place in Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It is highly recommended! The highest point that can be reached for sightseeing is 4680 meters above sea level. After getting off the cable car, you will reach a viewing platform with an altitude of 4506 meters. Then there is a plank road to climb up to the highest point of 4680. Be careful on this section of the road as it is easy to get high.

Maoniuping

Take the cableway to get there. The cableway takes more than ten minutes. At an altitude of 3,600 meters, there is some altitude sickness, but it is weaker than Glacier Park. Here is the grassland at the foot of the snow-capped mountains. There are some yaks. It is very open and good for taking pictures.

Yunshanping

Take the small ropeway, which takes about eight minutes. At an altitude of 3240 meters, high altitude reflection is relatively weak. This scenic spot is also a large lawn under the snow-capped mountains, with a good view and good photos.

Blue Moon Valley

There is no need to buy separate tickets for Blue Moon Valley. You only need to pay the entrance fee to play. The Blue Moon Valley lake is very clear and blue, and with the background of snowy mountains, the scenery is truly stunning. Blue Moon Valley and Yunshanping are very close to each other. Generally, the two are arranged together in terms of travel arrangements.

Tips:

Thick clothes are necessary for hiking in snowy mountains, preferably long down that can wrap your legs! Cotton shoes and thick socks are a must!

Oxygen bottles can be bought for 15 to 25 yuan in the ancient town at the foot of the mountain, but they cost 60 yuan in the scenic spots on the mountain without bargaining.

The amount of exercise in a day's trip is very large, so it is particularly important to bring some convenient and easy-to-pack food to satisfy your hunger, such as candy, chocolate, Snickers, etc.
