Shenzhen tourism

You can't find eleven on May Day.

Yue Feng, a reporter from Southern Metropolis Daily/Aoyi.com, reported today that this year is the first year after holiday adjustment. Recently, Shenzhen Holiday Office conducted a questionnaire survey on citizens' travel intentions during the "Eleventh" Golden Week. Among the 1000 citizens surveyed randomly, more than 50% have travel plans. Accordingly, Shenzhen Holiday Office estimates that the number of tourists in Shenzhen this Golden Week will reach 4.43 million.

In order to understand and master the travel situation of Shenzhen citizens during the "Eleventh" Golden Week this year, Shenzhen Holiday Office conducted this survey from September 65438 to September 25 this year. The survey used telephone interview and street interception, and randomly interviewed 1000 Shenzhen residents, including 485 in the SAR and 5 15 outside the SAR. There are 627 registered residents and 373 temporary residents.

According to the survey, 5 1.4% of the citizens have the intention to travel, which is 9.8 percentage points higher than last year's "Eleventh" Golden Week (4 1.6%). Among them, the travel rate of registered population is 50.9%, which is basically the same as that of temporary population (5 1.5%). Compared with last year's "Eleventh" Golden Week, the travel rate of non-registered population increased by 12.9 percentage points, while the travel rate of registered population decreased by 0.6 percentage points.

According to the survey results, the Holiday Office predicts that during the "Eleventh" Golden Week this year, Shenzhen will usher in a wave of citizens' travel. According to the total population of Shenzhen in 2007, there will be 4,426,200 people traveling in Shenzhen during the "Eleventh" Golden Week this year, an increase of about 9 1 10,000 compared with the 3,520,000 people traveling in the "Eleventh" Golden Week last year, including 3,345,200 people traveling in China.

According to the analysis of the Holiday Office, the reason for the increase in the number of tourists is the natural population growth in Shenzhen and the influence of cold and snowy weather in most parts of the south during the Spring Festival this year. Most of the builders who came to Shenzhen failed to return home to visit relatives or travel abroad, and the cancellation of the "May 1" Golden Week holiday played a certain role in promoting the citizens' travel during the "Eleventh" Golden Week.
