Xiajiang Yuji Mountain is located in Xiajiang County, about 70 kilometers north of Ji'an City. It stands on the east bank of Ganjiang River, with Xiajiang River on its back, and stretches for dozens of miles. Beautiful and with a pleasant climate, it is a pearl in the middle of Jiangxi. Jiesi, the great poet of the Yuan Dynasty, wrote in the article "Chengtian Palace": "There are three famous mountains in the world to the west of the river: Kuanglu, General Consul Zao, and Yu. "Jade Mountain is the most desperate place in the world." Yushan Mountain is called by Chinese Taoism the "Seventeenth Great Showful Paradise" among the thirty-six caves, and the "eighth Yumu Blessed Land" among the seventy-two blessed places. The original name of Jishan Mountain is Qunyu Mountain. Because the northern mountain is full of green, yellow, red, white and black stones, it is called "Qunyu".
Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty once traveled to famous mountains all over the world. According to legend, when he came here, the Queen Mother of the West gave him the "Qunyu Mountain". "Picture of the Treasure Urn of the Shangqing Dynasty". One day, he saw a white jade basket falling from the sky on Taibai Peak. When Emperor Wu ordered people to pick it up, the wind and rain suddenly fell and swept away the jade basket, hence the name of the jade basket. From the Qin and Han Dynasties to the Yuan Dynasty, many distinguished people, such as Kong Qiuming and He Zixiao in the Qin Dynasty, Mei Fu in the Han Dynasty, Guo Guilun in the Jin Dynasty, Luo Zifang in the Tang Dynasty, Shen Daolin in the Song Dynasty, etc., either avoided war, were dissatisfied with reality, envied gods, or followed orders. To spread the Dharma, they all go to the mountains to practice Qi and practice Taoism. During the Tang and Song Dynasties, due to the respect of the emperor, Taoism was extremely prosperous. The Yushan Palace was dotted with pavilions and pavilions in the mountain. At that time, there were two palaces, Chengtian and Daxiu, 21 temples such as Kaiming, Chongxu and Qianyuan; There are 24 altars including Immortal, Magu, White Deer and Send Immortals; 11 pavilions including Waiting Crane and Baihua; and 12 platforms including Du Zhen and Mingqin.
Among the peaks, Sendian Peak is the steepest. There is a Nine Immortals Platform on the top of the peak, which is said to be the place where Kong Qiuming and other Immortals No. 9 flew to the sky on a dragon during the Qin Dynasty. The peak of Fuxiang Peak is gentle and shaped like an upturned box. It is said that when Kong Qiu Ming ascended to heaven, he left a box for He Zixiao. After He took out the Xia You jade album in the box, the box he threw away turned into a mountain peak. He Zixiao stayed in the human world from then on and cultivated into an earthly immortal. "Six-Stone Xiangquan Cave" is another famous landscape in Yuqi Mountain. The six stones, namely Taishi, Zixiao Stone, Immortal Stonehe, Turtle Stone and Wenjian Stone, protrude from the ground and stand around Hejun Village. In the stone peak, the caves are connected to each other. The stalactites and stone pillars in the caves are of various shapes and postures. Being in the cave feels like being in a dragon palace or the underworld.
At the southern foot of Yuqi Mountain, there is a box-covered peak with an altitude of 486 meters and an area of ????six square kilometers. In the autumn of 1987, the forestry department built a lookout on the abandoned site that integrated forest fire prevention and tourism. This platform has triple cornices, a "resting mountain" roof, a spacious lower floor, and four corridors connecting the second and third floors. It is a combination of ancient and modern, and it stands proudly on the vast forest sea, making it a spectacular sight. When the sky is high and the clouds are clear, you can climb up to the pavilion and lean on the railing to have a panoramic view of the many beautiful scenery of Yuxia: to the east, you can see "Yuqi Qinglan", covered with clouds and fog; to the south, you can see the mountains lined with floating green and verdant; to the west, you can see "Baqiu Xiaozhao" ", the old maple is purple; looking north to the "Chengzhou Sail Formation", the distance is different, and the "Yunxia Yuntao" is ever-changing. Moreover, the Ganjiang River is like a train, going around the north of the city; the egrets are dotted with shadows, and the blue sky is like washing.
The strange rocks in Yuqian Mountain are even more amazing. There are many strange rocks all over the mountain. Entering it is like walking into a huge and boundless stone sculpture garden. The strange-shaped stones are large or small. They compete to imitate all natural things, such as the Zixiao Stone that "rises thousands of feet from the ground", the Taishi that "digs up white acres of grass", the Crane Stone that "raises its head and makes a sound", the Turtle Stone that "extends its head and bows", etc.
Facing these "stone sculptures", you have to admire the miraculous craftsmanship of nature.
The caves in the mountain are uniquely winding, deep, circuitous, and fascinating. Among them, the discovered caves include Quanxiu Cave, Yu Cave, Yuangui Cave, Guiqi Cave, Baiyun Cave, Hejun Cave, etc. There is a cool breeze blowing in the cave, and the environment is quiet and quiet. Tourists who were panting after climbing the mountain took a moment to rest here. The tired look on their faces disappeared immediately, and they suddenly felt energetic and relaxed. The mysterious cave makes you unable to help but experience the fun of exploring the cave by holding a fire. It will really give you a unique experience in the cave. Among the peaks and rocks, there are flowing springs and waterfalls, and streams are everywhere. The sound of water is crisp and clear, which adds a bit of vitality and aura to Yuqi Mountain.
Yucheng Mountain is known as the "Thirty-Six Caves". Among them, Xianren Spring is the most famous. The depth of the Immortal Spring is unfathomable, the spring water is clear enough to detect hair loss, it is warm in winter and cool in summer, and its flavor is as fragrant as Huishan Spring in Wuxi. Thirty-six streams come back together by different routes. The streams merge at the western foot of Yuqi Mountain to form the "Yujian Water". It rushes out of the mountain and goes straight to the Ganjiang River. Its momentum is like a white rainbow running through it, and it is unstoppable.
The Huanyu Pavilion, located on the Immortal Stone among the six stones in Hejun Village, was built in the Song Dynasty and got its name because of the six stones surrounding it. This pavilion is built against the mountain and stands on the rock. It has red walls, green tiles, hanging beams and overhanging eaves. Behind the pavilion is the Immortal Bridge on the Immortal Stone, and in front of the pavilion is the Immortal Spring. It is true that "the strange stones around the pavilion arise from the blessed land, and the Yujing Immortal Water Cave is born." Every autumn, when the air is crisp, it is refreshing to climb up to the Huan Yu Pavilion and look around the fertile mountains and fields.
Under the Yuanyang Peak of Yuqi Mountain, stands a magnificent building - Biao Yu Temple, also called Nan Temple by the villagers. This temple was first built in the sixth year of Tianbao in the Tang Dynasty and was originally named "Yunchu Temple". According to legend, during the Zhenguan period of the early Tang Dynasty, Wu Yunchu, the governor of Jizhou, resigned from office and took his family to practice Taoism here. Emperor Zhenzong of the Song Dynasty gave the temple a plaque with the inscription "Yunteng Biao Yu", and the name of the temple has been used to this day.
The South Temple was rebuilt on the old site by the Hejun Village Committee with funds and labor. On the mountain gate, the four characters "Famous Mountain in Jade Mountain" are clearly visible, and the momentum is extraordinary. There is an ancient Baihua Bridge in front of the gate. Although it is not impressive in appearance, it is extraordinary. It is the largest tunnel-type stone bridge in Jiangxi Province. The bridge body is made of granite with staggered joints. It has no beams, no columns, no ash and no mortar. It is as solid as ever.
