Travel strategy and route arrangement from Shenyang to Thailand
Speaking of Thailand, as one of the most popular overseas tourist destinations in China, it is never strange. Everyone has his own list of destinations to travel to Thailand. The lesser-known Chiang Rai is located in the northernmost city of Thailand. With its unique geographical location and operation mekong, people are very moved. In such a mysterious but world-famous land, what is the golden triangle of poppies blooming in the sun?
I am already familiar with Bangkok, but after watching detective chinatown, I can't help feeling that I missed a lot. Tips before departure
1. It is very convenient to use mobile payment (WeChat/Alipay) in most parts of Thailand. Night markets and other places can only pay in cash, but don't worry about ATM and foreign currency exchange.
Thailand has a tropical climate. The rainy season is from June to 10, and the temperature is between 23 and 38 degrees, with a large temperature difference between southern Thailand and northern Thailand. Although it won't rain all the time, the road is muddy when it rains. Pay attention to carrying rain gear and wearing non-slip shoes.
Most Thais are Buddhists. When visiting the temple, please make sure to wear appropriate clothes, cover your shoulders and knees, and take off your shoes before entering.
4. When taking a double car, carriage and other means of transportation that need to be negotiated, be sure to ask whether it is the price of a single person or the price of a chartered car to avoid conflicts due to misunderstanding.
Speaking of flying, there was a trip to Thailand, and many people were talking about "a trip to leave". This trip to Thailand was really a trip by plane. As a Northeastern, Southeast Asia is really out of reach. Every time I go, I stop or change planes. The tortuous flight is exhausting.
I happened to see AirAsia actually open a direct flight from Shenyang to Bangkok, and happened to buy a discounted ticket. I spent less than 1000 yuan on a round-trip ticket to Bangkok, which was completely unimaginable in the past. AirAsia's network in Thailand is also very strong. In addition to Bangkok, Chiang Mai is also the main hub of AirAsia Thailand, with many flights and affordable prices. So this route is Shenyang-Bangkok-Chiang Mai-Chiang Rai-Bangkok-Shenyang, which is connected by AirAsia flights, and there is no turning back.
I used to know that AirAsia was a low-cost airline, so I was still very uneasy to ride. However, when I got on the plane and saw the kind and beautiful Thai stewardess, my doubts disappeared. The comfort, spaciousness and thoughtful service of the flight did not lead to discount because of the low cost.
Save money, for example, I booked the Santan Moon-printing machine meal online in advance, each meal is about RMB in 30 yuan (if it is not expensive to buy on the plane, it is better to book it in advance), and on different routes, I chose three different Asian-flavor foods: roast chicken rice, Thai fried rice noodles and basil chicken rice set meal. This sense of autonomy and diversification has never been experienced by other airlines before.
In this way, I went from the northernmost part of China, across the vast waters of Qian Shan, to the mysterious and charming Thailand, and started an interesting trip, including "Rose of Northern Thailand" Chiang Mai, "Myanmar, my old neighbor" Chiang Rai, and "city of angels" Bangkok.
Ty _ and the story of a small town
1, Tai _ Hotel
When I arrived in Chiang Mai, the first thing I did was stay at Le Meridien Chiang Mai, where many Thai scenes were filmed.
Luxurious LeMeridien Hotel is located in the center of Chiang Mai, far away from ThaPaeGate and Warorot.
The market is only a few steps away, combining European design features and Lanatai Thai charm.
Walking into the famous massage scene in "Tai _", there is no banter in the movie at this time, only the elegant guest room and soil outside the window.
Sutie Mountain and the beautiful scenery of the city. Although it is not a scenic spot, you can see the city scenery of Chiang Mai.
The restaurant that was negotiated in Tai _ is now Favola Restaurant, which provides modern Italian cuisine. In addition, the latest
Recipe restaurant provides an international buffet prepared by its own interactive open kitchen, as well as snacks and cocktails at Latitude 18 or Plunge terrace in Chi Pan.
2. Taicun and Alice Garden
Go directly to Tai _ Village when you leave the hotel. Tai _ Cun's real name is Mei.
An hour's drive from Chiang Mai, it is a paradise surrounded by mountains. Although it became popular because of the movie "Thailand", there is no sense of urgency for tourists. Apart from seeing European and American hikers from time to time, we are actually the only tourists from China!
The wooden house in the village has a familiar feeling of movie screen, but it is particularly simple. According to the tour guide, this wooden building inherits the tradition of northern Thailand, and the vines climbing on it add mystery and history to the building.
Similar to this village, Alice Garden for lunch is small and beautiful. Although the scale is small, it is full of literary atmosphere.
The main entrance of the garden restaurant is surrounded by various unique ancient trees. After crossing the main hall, you will see private gardens appearing in countless movies. At first glance, I really don't know how to describe this kind of scenery. Now I think it should be Alice in Wonderland+The Wizard of Oz.
In this way, I stood by the swift stream in the drizzle, looked at the blooming flowers, lamented a good cup of coffee, and took the best time.
3. Elephant Camp
The elephants in Chiang Mai are particularly famous, and there are many elephant camps in Everbright. Before I came here, I compared a lot, saw several elephant camps, and finally chose Wang Mei Elephant Camp. Although the journey back and forth is really bumpy, people who get carsick on Panshan Road have to take motion sickness medicine, but I have to say that this is the most unforgettable time for me to get along with elephants.
The first thing we did when we arrived was to give us clothes for elephants, that is, clothes for their people. Then we learned how to get along with elephants, and then we can carry a bag of sugar cane and a bucket of bananas to feed them. When feeding, elephants will steal food from your baskets and bags until they think you are useless.
We brush the elephant's back in the river with a brush. Elephants are so nice. Some will lie on their side and let you finish painting the other side. Then make food for elephants to regulate their intestines and stomach, and then give them a bath and massage. The elephant is very naughty. It has been spraying water all over the floor.
This elephant camp in Chiang Mai is only to protect elephants. There are no elephant performances, no elephant rides and few tourists from China. The boss personally explained all kinds of knowledge and status quo about elephants in Chinese and English, so that everyone could take the voice of caring for elephants back to their hometown.
Tip: the specific steps of elephant camp
(1) When you arrive, go to the bathroom and change into the clothes of the elephant camp, because elephants know these clothes and will be friendly.
(2) Each person will be given a cloth bag, which can be filled with free bananas and sugar cane to feed the elephants.
(3) After explaining the precautions, feed the elephants in the camp. Precautions: don't run; Don't stand in front of the elephant; Don't shout; Don't be afraid; You can touch the elephant and hug it.
(4) Take the elephant to the river for a bath.
(5) Next, everyone goes back to the bathroom to take a shower and change back into clothes.
4. Teresa Teng and Chiang Mai
Before I came here, I didn't know there was a beautiful and familiar song about Chiang Mai. It turns out that the small town in Teresa Teng's The Story of a Small Town refers to Chiang Mai. This tree-lined town in northern Thailand has many cultural relics and temples. In the early morning, devout civilians often kneel on the roadside and offer flowers and vegetarian meals to monks. This is Teresa Teng's favorite city.
During 1994- 1995, Teresa Teng came to Chiang Mai three times. He came with his French boyfriend Paul and stayed at Meiping Hotel next to Le Meridien Hotel, overlooking the whole city of Chiang Mai. Every time Teresa Teng comes, he lives in a suite.
1In April, 1995, Teresa Teng revisited his hometown, and originally planned to return to France in May. Unexpectedly, asthma broke out on May 8, at the age of 42. Teresa Teng's sudden death shocked the Chinese community, especially her fans. Teresa Teng died in Chiang Mai, which made many people know about this town.
The town of Chiang Mai is really beautiful. It is not a straight path, chic and neat walls, buildings with different styles, lush foliage and countless flowers decorate her face. When you accidentally step into a roadside shop, there may be inexplicable surprises. The town is clean and fresh. If you walk here for a day, you will fall in love with this place that slows down time. Nowadays, in Chiang Mai, many restaurants are playing Teresa Teng's songs. People miss Teresa Teng, find the charm of Chiang Mai, and like this place.
A colorful city composed of white, blue, black and gold.
1, White Temple
The white temple was not originally called the white temple, but later it became a white temple when more people called it.
The name of the White Temple is Lingguang Temple in Chiang Rai, Thailand. It is located in Chiang Rai, the kingdom of Thailand, and was created by the famous Thai artist Charlermchai.
Kositpipat funded the design and construction of it. Compared with the resplendence of most temples in Thailand, the White Temple is unique because of its pure white.
Unique. In the sunshine, this white temple is wandering in the blue sky, shining with dazzling light, as if it were a fine work of art.
The exterior of modern Buddhist temples is decorated with mirror fragments, and gable windows are decorated with the shapes of multi-headed snake naga, elephant and umbrella. There is a huge Buddha mural painted by Khositphiphat.
In addition to the pure white roof, pure white walls and pure white pedestal, the White Temple combines the thoughts and thoughts of many artists and interprets the meaning, essence and wisdom of Buddhism with sculptures.
For example, if you walk across Naihe Bridge, you can see thousands of hands waving, struggling and shouting below. This is a fallen soul waiting for redemption in hell, and it also warns people in the world to do good deeds and accumulate virtue, so as not to enter a terrible hell in the afterlife.
For tourists, in addition to the enlightenment of Buddhism, it has also become a punching place for online celebrities. The weather is fine. When we arrived at the White Temple, the rain suddenly stopped. The weather is sunny, and the blue sky and white clouds are beautiful. Against the background of high saturation blue sky, white temples stand quietly, which is more sacred and pure. Standing in front of it, I am a little trance, a little incredible, as if I were in a fairy tale world.
2. Blue Temple
If the White Temple is a clear stream in the temples in northern Thailand, then the Blue Temple is a wonderful flower in the temples. This blue temple was designed and built by the apprentice of Mr. Xu Cailong, the designer of the White Temple. It continued the original concept of no admission fee, no parking fee and no incense money.
The blue of the Blue Temple is deep and dignified. Walking through many temples in the world, it is still hard to believe the design of this temple. Different from the pure color of the White Temple, the Blue Temple has added colorful sculptures such as pink, green and purple on the basis of blue tone, with exquisite and complicated wood carvings and glittering gold foil. Its gorgeous colors really look like a wonderful underwater world.
Against the pale blue sky, the Blue Temple has become the most colorful building in Chiang Rai, giving people a deep and quiet beauty and the most mysterious and quiet deep-sea pearl. The architectural style of the Blue Temple is a combination of Lanna and Myanmar styles. The statue of the monk in the temple is really amazing, as if he was really looking at you when you were looking at him. When you kneel on the carpet to rest, you always want to close your eyes, as if you could hear the sound of the sky and the ocean.
Blue Temple is very young and has a history of 100 years. It was built in 1894, earlier than the well-known White Temple 104. It is worth mentioning that the Blue Temple in Chiang Mai is still expanding. The local people want the Blue Temple in Chiang Mai to remain immortal in the history of temple architecture, which shows that the local people cherish the Blue Temple.
Blue temples give people a deep and quiet beauty. When you take off your shoes and enter the main hall, look around the walls and the top of the hall, and those lifelike murals, you will sigh the richness and magnificence of the world colors.
Step 3: darkroom
Darkroom has nothing to do with Buddhism, but it has more shocking spiritual power. The Dark House Museum of Culture and Art is an art village with a large area, with 4/kloc-0 buildings, most of which were built by Tawan Dachani with teak. The facade is mainly black, so it is called "darkroom".
Teak house is mainly made of Thai wood structure, which is interpreted differently according to Thai style. The artistry transcends the practicality and makes the buildings colorful, but it is inseparable from the origin of Thai architecture.
The museum collects a large number of exhibits about death, and integrates ancient animal bones and primitive hunting tools into various works of art, such as giant seats with buffalo horns, devil reliefs on wooden boats, and wind chimes made of animal skins hanging in the air, all of which are reminiscent of hell. There are more than a dozen buildings decorated with horns scattered around the Black Temple. All the buildings and exhibits are based on black, which is completely different from the white temple and shows the world difference between heaven and hell.
The Black Temple is shocking at first sight because of its color and momentum. However, when you walk into a dark room and walk through different buildings, you will find that the beauty that really shocks you must have been polished by years. You can see the traces washed by rain and the dryness baked by the sun. Rows of dark log-colored houses are now deep and heavy.
I don't know if it is a coincidence. All the scenic spots visited by Chiang Rai are related to colors, which makes people feel that Chiang Rai is a city of colors. At night, I dragged my tired body and stayed at the luxurious Le Meridien Resort Chiang Rai.
Surrounded by mountains, with a long history of Buddhist temples and mountain tribal villages, the double-decker outdoor swimming pool overlooks the magnificent vortex river, listening to the mysterious love story told by the service staff about the Prince Tree of Le Mé ridien Hotel, and gradually falling asleep.
Chiang Rai, like different colorful buildings and a quiet and beautiful night at Le Meridien Hotel, has always remained in my memory.
Shuanglong Temple, Giant Buddha Pagoda Temple, Four-faced Buddha and Panlong Temple, what do you have to say about faith?
In the Buddhist kingdom of Thailand, temples are not only the epitome of Thai architecture and art, but also an indispensable experience for tourists. On the way to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Bangkok, I not only visited many famous and beautiful temples, but also was deeply moved by the power of this belief.
Ssangyong Temple in Chiang Mai is a legendary temple built by the royal family. It is said that in the14th century, a monk from Ceylon brought several Buddhist relics to Thailand, one of which was enshrined in the Six Kings Temple in Lana in 13. In order to let his people worship the relics, he asked four soldiers to follow his white elephant to find a holy place.
The elephant now walks all the way to Su Tieshan, stops at the tower we can see now, and then the white elephant dies. The king built this tower here so that his people could also worship the relics of Sakyamuni. Because there are two golden dragons on both sides of the mountain road, it is called "Shuanglong Temple".
Su Tieshan, where Shuanglong Temple is located, means "Xianyou" in Thai, and the locals also call this mountain "Yuxian Mountain". At an altitude of 1667 meters, there is an observation deck behind the main hall of Shuanglong Temple, overlooking the whole city of Chiang Mai.
The ancient Chi Di Dragon Temple, also known as the Giant Buddha Pagoda Temple, was built in 14 1 1 year. It is the largest of the six temples in Chiang Mai, and the highest-ranking temple in Chiang Mai together with Pasin Temple. Temple is a typical Lanna (ancient Thai dynasty) style building, which consists of Daxiong Hall, Small Buddha Hall and Monk Room. The entrance of the temple is decorated with snakes and peacocks, and a huge Buddha statue can be seen inside.
1545 After the Chiang Mai earthquake, the spire of the stupa collapsed overnight, so the stupa we see now is flat-topped. Walk around the square tower. There are two halls behind the square tower.
In the glass cabinet in the middle of each hall, there is a wax figure, a monk in a robe with bright eyes. As Chiang Mai was once the capital of the Kingdom of Thailand for a long time, the Giant Buddha Pagoda Temple is a precious historical and cultural relic preserved to this day, showing the splendid history and culture of northern Thailand.
The four-faced Buddha is the most famous god in Thailand. It is said that you have never really been to Thailand without visiting the Four Faces Buddha in Bangkok, Thailand. The four-faced Buddha is transliterated from Chinese. Because it looks like a Buddha statue in China, it has four sides in the southeast and northwest, so it is called "four-faced Buddha". In fact, it worships the Indian Brahmin God, the Brahmin King, the God who created heaven and earth, and is in charge of all the wealth in the world, not the Buddha in China's traditional concept.
Four-faced Buddha, representing health, career, love and wealth respectively, is in charge of all human affairs and is one of the most popular Buddha statues in Thailand. It is said that the efficacy of the four-faced Buddha is extraordinary. Therefore, some tourists travel to and from Thailand many times in order to make a wish in front of the Four Faces Buddha. Every year, many Hong Kong and Taiwan movie stars come to Thailand to worship the Four Faces Buddha, which shows the charm of the Four Faces Buddha. Nowadays, the four-faced Buddha is bustling and crowded, and many girls perform traditional Thai songs and dances to make wishes for believers.
Panlong Temple is a modern but extremely exaggerated Buddhist temple. The whole building is 17 stories high and is entangled by a "dragon". This dragon is lifelike and looks very spectacular and domineering, but this dragon is hollow and visitors can climb to the top of the building through its body.
This Panlong Temple was built by local believers, so as soon as you enter the temple, you can see the palm prints, sole prints and names of many believers who donated merits, and the floor tiles will take you into Panlong Temple.
The top of the building is a handsome dragon's head, and the pillars on the top floor are all painted with images of immortals, military commanders, flying in the sky in China mythology. Climb up along the dragon body of the temple, about four meters in diameter and 280 meters in length. The whole building is about 80 meters high, so you can't see the road ahead or the road. At the bottom of the temple, there is a huge golden Buddha statue, several temples and smaller statues, where tourists worship.
I have seen all kinds of temples and many unique lotus flowers in Thailand. I can't help but think of someone who once said: Time is as quiet as a lotus. It's like I'm holding a lotus, walking lightly through the fragrant path, holding a clear spring in my heart, standing in the red dust of the years, counting the tea and flowers along the way, some happy and some sad, some infatuated and some frivolous. Zen, a pure lotus flower blooms in the heart, warms a pot of green tea, and the smoke curled up outside the castle peak, holding a Buddhist picture, and experiencing it carefully. Every time I recite it, a clear spring hides in my body and mind, filling all five directions, purifying the dust again and again, and detaching my heart again and again. Even in a busy city, my heart is unusually quiet. This, perhaps, is faith, Buddhism in Thailand, which gives people a feeling.
Countless, insufficient and unforgettable Thai food.
Thai food enjoys an international reputation, and whether it is spicy or light, it can capture a large number of supporters. Thai cuisine is mainly divided into four major cuisines, namely Northern Thai Cuisine, Northeastern Thai Cuisine, Chinese Thai Cuisine and Southern Thai Cuisine. The ingredients used in each place are often influenced by neighboring countries. The map of Thailand in the minds of foodies should be like this: fish, shrimp and seafood on the southern seashore, winter yin gong and chicken coconut in the central plain, while pig's trotters soup and fried pig's skin in the mountains of northern Thailand make people's index fingers move. Thai people who love to eat agree that the farther north, the more delicious food there is.
Online celebrity Mid-Levels Garden Restaurant in Chiang Mai, Thai Restaurant in Green House, Coconut Grove Cafe in Bangkok ... Thailand's elegance, innovation and different regional cuisines make the scenery and taste buds overlap and complement each other.
Thai food in northern Thailand is more sour, spicy and heavier than ordinary Thai food. More than 700 years ago, Chiang Mai was one of the largest cities at that time as a trade transit point on the Silk Road in Southeast Asia. A large number of eating habits have merged here, and gradually become a school of their own, with the characteristics of Myanmar, Laos and Xishuangbanna, China.
For example, there is no coconut milk in clear soup, because Chiang Mai people think that the rich coconut milk dominates the mixed aroma of citronella, southern ginger, lime and lemon leaves, and without its interference, the aroma of other spices can be highlighted. The biggest feature of Thai food is sour and spicy. Spices are heavier than those in central and southern Thailand, and the ingredients and tastes are far more wild than those in central Bangkok.
Another feature that evokes the soul of food in northern Thailand is that many foods are dipped in Chili sauce. The Chili sauce in Chiang Mai is slightly different from that in Bangkok. There are two common kinds: Chili tomato minced meat and green Chili sauce. Pepper, tomato and minced meat are similar to tomatoes marinated with minced meat in dried noodles made in old Beijing, while green Chili sauce is made of a local long green pepper, which is baked, peeled, mashed and pickled, spicy but not sore. Various ingredients can be mixed freely with meat sauce, and one dish can eat ten flavors. As long as you have dipped in Chili sauce, which is sacred to Chiang Mai people, you will have a wonderful feeling: at first you feel spicy, but then you will release a texture different from the food itself in your mouth.
The soul of eating goods washed out by Thai food is often unable to adapt to other cuisines. Since then, Dongyin Gong, coconut tender chicken soup, curry fish cake, green curry chicken and mango fragrant rice have haunted my mind every day.
Those films shot in Thailand combine their own religious beliefs and folk customs, and their coquettish and charming postures make you can't help watching him. Thailand in the movie seems to suddenly step onto the stage and catch everyone's eye at once. People are surprised to see the other side of Thailand. Truth, publicity and surprise become its labels. Movies can pass, but this place is full of bright sunshine, colorful colors, sweet birds and insects, and intoxicating fragrance, so it stays in my stomach, in my heart, and in my travel notes that I will always review and miss.
