Travel scam
Recently, there has been another scam in the tourism circle. Many people bought 5980 yuan in travel agencies and friends circle. Two large and one small from Hangzhou, Nanjing, Shanghai, Wuxi and Hefei to Sanya, plus three nights' accommodation in Atlantis, the warehouse exploded.
The so-called explosion of positions, of course, means that consumers can't travel when buying tourist goods, and even the tour fees they pay may not be able to get back.
In April this year, Astra launched its own products, including round-trip air tickets for two people from Hangzhou, Nanjing, Chongqing, Guangzhou and Guiyang to Sanya, plus two nights from Astra Hotel 4 188 yuan.
Therefore, according to the price in April alone, 5980 yuan (1792), an extra night's accommodation and a child's air ticket are barely within a reasonable range.
Prices rose in May and June, so it is estimated that the price difference between old customers can be made up by collecting money from new customers to achieve some balance.
But once in July, not only did the price difference between air tickets and hotels increase, but all kinds of rooms in Astra were also full, and problems broke out intensively.
Like a Ponzi scheme.
How to see through
There are three main roles in this "trip to the East": wholesalers, travel agencies and consumers.
wholesaler
Wholesalers will cut hotels in chartered flight, but generally they will not sell tourism products directly to the public, mostly toB. They get a good cost through a lot, and they get a lot through a good cost. We discuss the annual flight frequency with basic airlines, and we also discuss bulk discounts with common destination hotels.
The core values of wholesalers: low price, low price or low price.
travel agency
The tour group mainly looks for the route, collects the guests and gives them to the route. CYTS, Caesar, these are tour groups, and their core is to have customer resources.
There are more than 10 tour groups in Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai and other places.
consumer
Consumers are the easiest to explain, the people who bought these goods.
The general service flow of tour groups is: tourists-tour groups-wholesalers.
1) Gambling by wholesalers
As a wholesaler in Yunnan and Thailand, I love gambling.
The simplest, gambling shopping, gambling at your own expense. A little more complicated, gambling on write-off (users can't buy it), gambling on futures (hotels and air tickets are about to drop), and gambling on subsidies (local governments have recently subsidized tourism).

This is how so many negative tour groups in Yunnan and Thailand came before.
The source of this Yate accident is actually a third-rate unknown wholesaler in Yunnan.
What do they bet on? If you bet on going to Sanya to enter the duty-free shop and use the coupons they give, you will get a rebate; After you bet Yate, you will get a rebate if you order additional travel photos or other paid products; Repeated gambling epidemic may not be able to travel; Betting on air tickets, the hotel temporarily reduces prices. Take risks.
Anyway, I brought the one I played in Yunnan to Sanya.
But Sanya is not Yunnan. This year's Sanya is not the Sanya of previous years. Have you ever seen Sanya always be the peak season in summer? But this year is!
2) the luck of the tour group.
I didn't expect that there are so many tour groups besides tourists (a total of 10, including 5 in Zhejiang). There are many "old rivers and lakes" in the tourist circle.
So far, they are the biggest losers. On the one hand, money is given to upstream suppliers, but they still can't get it back; On the other hand, they have to pay a deposit to consumers.
It can only be said that the epidemic has been going on for a long time and the pressure is great. I haven't done business for half a year, and I can't even make the most basic judgment.
In other words, I have always been lucky to know that there is a pit. I didn't get caught in the storm so early, and I won't be the last person cheated by Ponzi scheme.
This is obviously the leek cut by the upstream wholesaler.

In the process of chasing money, many tourism practitioners suddenly realized a problem. Since the essence of being a travel agency is for money, where does the money come from? Actually, it's not an important thing. Cutting from users is cutting, and cutting from tour groups is also cutting, as long as it is not fake money.
3) The greed of consumers
What kind of consumers will buy 999 to travel to Yunnan and Thailand? I will also buy this 5980 three-person round trip to Sanya to stay in Art and Addison. Ordinary talent 2000 is a clear violation of the price law during the summer vacation.
I always thought that if the price was too low, there would be evil spirits. During the summer vacation, the price of Astra rushed to 4000 a night. How can I let you stay in 5980 for three nights? Including air tickets.
How to avoid it
The price is too low, there must be a demon and something unusual happens.
If the travel products you buy are remitted (transferred) to private individuals, and there is no invoice or travel contract, and the price is obviously abnormal, then you need to pay more attention.
If the price of tourism products is lower than 20% of the market price, then there will be great problems in all kinds of advertisements.
Don't buy any second-class goods except the resource side.
The flying pig stepped on a pit. Four or five years ago, the double 1 1, all kinds of travel and holiday products (air tickets, hotels) booked twice were provided by travel agencies, and now they are long gone.
Why? Travel agencies are not resource providers and cannot control hotels and airlines at all. Consumers want to travel in the peak season, and airline hotels want to raise prices in the peak season. This is a paradox. Travel agencies can't manage resources or consumers.
This is why hotels have a large number of secondary reservations, and airlines also sell a large number of secondary reservations (free travel packages). But the travel agency can't do it at all.
Most of the second reservations made by travel agencies have loopholes.
Find a spare tire and take risks.
Economic laws tell us that risks will never disappear, but will only shift. Instead of buying tourist goods directly from travel agencies and resource providers, it is better to find a spare tire middleman.
For example, if you are trading in flying pigs and the money is on Alipay, no one can take it away without verification.
For example, if you trade in Ctrip, the money is also collected by Ctrip first, and the control of Ctrip suppliers is definitely much stronger than yours.
But these are actually not the point. The real point is that everyone needs to control their greed and desire.
The summer house price in Sanya is so low that everyone should be aware of the problem. It's just that everyone thinks they won't be the last one, and they can all take chestnuts from the fire.
