Why use Tianma as a graphic symbol of China tourism?

The National Tourism Administration decided to use Tianma as a graphic symbol of China tourism. It was designed according to 1969, a bronze sculpture of the Eastern Han Dynasty unearthed in Wuwei, Gansu. Bronze sculpture was originally named bronze galloping horse, also known as flying swallow on horseback. After textual research, it is found that Ma Ta is not a swallow, but a dragon finch (that is, Fengshen) in ancient legend. Ma Ta is extraordinary and all horses, so it was renamed Tianma. The horsehead wears a garland and the tail is slightly knotted, which has strong China characteristics and gallops like a horse, symbolizing the vigorous development of tourism in China.
