Where is Handan?
Handan belongs to Hebei Province (Hebei), at the southernmost tip of Hebei, at the junction of Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong and Henan provinces.
Changzhi (Shanxi) in the west, Anyang (Henan) in the south and Liaocheng (Shandong) in the east. Handan is developing towards the direction of "regional economic center at the junction of four provinces". Handan is rich in tourism resources. There are many scenic spots in the city, such as Congtai, Zhaoyuan, Huangliangmeng, Pedestrian Bridge, Return Lane and Mahayana Jade Buddha Temple. There are also Qingshan (ancient Wudang), Xiushui (Jingniang Lake), Ancient Temple (Xiangtang Temple), Humanities (Changshou Village), Huaguo (Weixian Pear Flower Festival) and famous food (named "258")
2. Cultural status
Handan has a long history. During the Warring States period, it was the capital of Zhao, and Hebei was also called, in which Zhao refers to the area centered on Handan. Handan is also the hometown of famous idioms, the "Zhao culture" under the heavy historical accumulation, the older Taiji culture and the Mika culture. Handan is the only capital city in China that has never been renamed since it was recorded.
